As luck would have it, my Express 750 step-thru ebike was delivered today and the rear fender and rack were pre installed.

Good honest in depth review. I just purchased xpress vs Velotric 2. Saved a $1,000 with Xterra battery. I hope money saved will not be buyers remorse over components and features.

I'm 5'4" the bike fits me great. I bought the Xpress 750 high step. Yes the straight bar is better. The high step rides like a mountain bike. IMO it's better than the step through. I only use pedal assist 3,4 and 5 and gear 5, 6 or 7 so I don't know care about assist level one and two. The lower assist and gears seem useless. I like riding between 20 mph and 28 mph. I love the lectric Xpress 750w high step.

Thank you for the comment, I am glad you are loving the bike!

@ElectronSurfer I think you would be happy with a class 4 e bike. $2000 wired, freesky, Mokwheel, e cells. Wait for sales Guys like more power and speed from throttle alone. Don't be 🤬. Your not the only one who bought the wrong e bike.

In your opinion if you deflate the rear tire and use a mini 90 degree screwdriver can you install the rear fender without removing the rear wheel?
@ElectronSurferАй бұрын
That could work, you really need just enough room to get it started. Good idea.

My question is will replacement batteries be available 5 years from now? My regular bike will last me a lifetime, as long as i do regular maintenance. I don’t want ti spend money on e-waste. Hopefully batteries become standardized.

There is some movement in battery recycling, hungryforbatteries.org. I don't see batteries ever becoming standard but behind the battery cradle is a very standard wire connection. You could make any compatible voltage battery work with it, it is the benefit of dumb ebikes like these vs. smart ones like Bosch where the battery has to communicate with the rest of the system.

How does it fit for a 6’3” guy? Any large frame recommendations?

I think this would be fine for a taller person especially with the easy to adjust handlebars

Not that familiar with the Xpress. Is that the original Xpress or the new, Xpress 2.0 you're reviewing?
@ElectronSurfer22 күн бұрын
They don't use their 1.0, 2.0 numbers with the Xpress, just the 500 vs. 750 watt. This is the newest Xpress they have.

You may be thinking of the Xpeak and Xpeak 2.0…

what awbout the damn noise on the 750,Xpress can you comment on that please........!!the xp 3.0 is noiseless good bike.....
@ElectronSurfer22 күн бұрын
I don't know about the XP 3.0 but the Xpress Stealth M24 motor does make noise. I do prefer the quiet hub motors which this is not.
