This was the best KZbin review I have seen for as long as I can remember: no gimmicks, nothing annoying, simply excellent review of the product. You speak perfectly and clearly, and your demeanor is ideal. You gave me all the info that I wanted to know about this little machine. Thank you!

My sentiments exactly- it is the BEST review on You Tube I have ever seen.

This is one of the best and most organized reviews of the LectroFan Classic. Covers all the bases clearly and concisely without being too brief or too long-winded. Hits that six to nine minute sweet spot of the ideal presentation. Bravo!

I like that the sound isn't looping. This might be worth a purchase.

Thank you so much for this. After watching this video a couple of months ago, I purchased one. Loved it so much, picked up two more for other rooms. We have traffic noise and this has saved my sanity. I also turn it on for our nervous dog when we leave the house.

I have a tough time falling asleep, i think the white noise would help sleep peacefully. It sounds so soothing.

Wow, I've never heard of pink & brown noise. Learned that I prefer brown/pink noise to white noise. love the portability and most of the fan sounds. I wish it had a ocean or bird option too.

I love it! You can find cheaper white noise machines but I doubt if they would be "loop-free", with good sound quality and as easy to use as this one.

I can sleep through annoying lawn mowers and roofers during the day when I want to relax on a day I'm off of work. It's lovely.

I'm so glad you played the sound because I had to learn what white noise was. It's also good to know that 85 decibels or lower is the recommended sound level.

Classic or EVO?

Hi, We have been using a different sound machine that is fine but a few months ago had the most horrid people move in above us and they seem to feel that they live in a single family home. They let their toddler run wild for hours and move their heavy metal lanai furniture on their concrete lanai at 1 am, 3 am 4 am etc. You can hear it loudly through the ceiling. It is jolting to the point our daughter just broke teeth grinding them in her sleep bc of the constant noise. Our kids work at night late so don't get to bed til 2am and the toddler is up at 5am with clearly no supervision. There is concrete gypsum in the floor which is very good soundproofing material so it gives you an idea of how bad this is. We are hoping to add this product to our rooms in addition to the existing sound machine which is across the room and doesn't do much to block out the sudden harsh noises upstairs by itself so we are looking for a machine with great volume to put on the other side of the room and not right up against the bed to add to what we have in the first machine. How loud does this go and do you feel it would be loud enough added to the other machine from across a 10x10 room to take the edge off the sound upstairs so she didn't grind and jerk out of sleep constantly? I know the thing about the recommendations of how loud it should be, but I would assume the loudness of it would be more important if on a nightstand versus 9 feet away. We have to do something and quick. We read that the classic is louder than the EVO version of this machine. Do you agree? Thanks and sorry for the life story! Just thought context was important to getting the right answer.

Best review of this product. The other ones on KZbin talk too much and don’t provide a sample of each noise

Their most effective when you sit them on a window ledge or by your window put it by the window where the outside noise is coming from then you’ll notice a big difference.

If it is set to turn off after some time, does it switch off suddenly, or fade out gradually?

I am shopping and a lot of reviews on various machines report an odd background noise that can show up - what about the LectroFan - any reports of odd disturbing background sounds ?

Since it allows USB power, try using a little portable power bank, like the kind people buy to charge their phone on the go.

I believe this machine can only go as high as 85 dB anyway, so they may have taken hearing safety into account with design.

buy a good blue tooth speaker...like Bose...pair it to your phone...go to youtube and select whatever sound you want that offers whatever time limit you want and download it....and you won't have to listen to someone run their mouth for 7:37...................
