How do you like it? Is Tuning better with it than the stock metering rod

Generally speaking I like it, but I'm not sure if I get all of it's benefits low and slow. There were times where it helped reduce the amount of clutching though. Tuning is the same as the standard rod. I'll probably push it another quarter lean and put some more hours on it. As far as the way it runs in general, I had my factory rod SO GOOD that this isn't quite there yet, but I'll get there. It's easy enough to do trail side with so much engine bay room available.

@ care to share your settings when you had your stock rod on there? I have an apex head and boyson reeds so it may differ from yours. What was your rod, idle, power, and torque jet settings if you don’t mind sharing?

@@coalcountryrider I will check tonight before I load up. The most important thing is to start with your idle about 4 out and tune the idle WITH THE ROD. From there, fine tune your idle with the idle screw but no more than about 1/2 turn in either direction. Lectron's support is really good too. Just grab your serial number and they can give you your factory settings. I'll get my rod, idle, and PJ tonight. No torque jet as it's not a pro.

@@coalcountryrider Metering Rod: 2.131" PJ: 1 Idle: 4 1/8 If this helps at all, my rod came from Lectron at 2.098. This means with my current setup, I'm 0.033 LONGER or LEANER. Each 1/8 is about 0.003. So I am 1 full turn leaner + 3/8 turns leaner.
