I've learned so much more than what I expected to learn from this topic. Thanks to your soothing voice and for your very organized and understandable way of explaining even the most complicated portions of this topic. How I wish to have a teacher like this.

What a perfect angel who understands and explains the working of the immune system on a preschool level so we all can finally understand what really is happening. For some it can save our lives. What a Angel who can snow doctors in precise jargon yet explain to us mortals how God made us. Wow. Wow Wow. Gonna listen more than twice

HI professor, a big fan of ur work . I had a small question , when the invading bacteria is coated and surrounded by a specific antibody and calls in for phagocytosis, does the phagocyte "eat" the antibody as well? IF yes, isn't this an example of auto immunity?????

How do B cells and T cells acquire their specific receptors? Is it a random process? If the body were to come across a completely new antigen would our cells already have the means to respond or is that acquired some how?

How are B memory cells different from B cells from which they are produced
@PhysiologyforStudents3 жыл бұрын
Hello @RajeevJain, thank you for your question. Memory B cells are made when B cells are exposed to a specific pathogen. Memory B cells make antibodies specific to the antigen. Here is a nice, recent summary article that may be helpful for you. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6328991/
