Lecture 20: Multilevel Inverter

Is it possible to read output voltage of MLI using multimeter ??? If we are using three dc source such as V , 2V , and 4V as input and output as 7V , so if 9v , 18v , 36v as input and output as 63v (AC) , but I am getting only 36V (AC) as output while checking in multimeter. So wheather it is working good or not , but in matlab simulation it shows 63V correctly.

Excellent explaination sir about different multi level inverter but I have a query in T-type multi level inverter as you said it is only possible +Vdc 0 -Vdc but in the below paper A. Sheir, M. Z. Youssef and M. Orabi, "A Novel Bidirectional T-Type Multilevel Inverter for Electric Vehicle Applications," in IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, vol. 34, no. 7, pp. 6648-6658, July 2019, doi: 10.1109/TPEL.2018.2871624 we can get five level, how to get +2Vdc and -2Vdc sir
