Complete import procedure consisting of special details on Import general manifest and Bill of entry is explained in full detail in this video.
Have explained in detail about the procedure of IGM (Import general manifest) filing and its importance to us. Further, Have explained how do we check the IGM status online on Icegate portal itself.
For bill of entry, have shared its sample format and explained the meaning of it in very simple terms itself. Bill of entry for home consumption, bill of entry ex-bond and in-bond for warehouse entry and bill of entry for dutiable, non-dutiable and goods to be re-exported is also explained in detail here in this video.
Further little import steps like clearance of freight and dock charges and getting NOC is also explained.
