I think Lecturer changed his mouth with this Professor Nuts thing because he gave a totally different account when Irish and Chin interviewed him because if i remember well he gave credit to Nuts in teaching him how to DJ but San was the one who taught him how to write and put lyric together to get the real flow..

Big up Lecturer, great DJ. Luv the vibes wid Lecturer. Recapping his history when he said he won silver medal at School Festival. Only if his head wasn't hurting he could have won the gold. Great interview and it would be great to hear individual in depth interviews with Papa San, Stitchie and Professor Nuts to hear their side of issues raised by Lecturer. The powers that be in Jamaica do not understand the international financial power of reggae music and Lecturer's idea of a museum is fantastic. Country music does this in America and pulls in millions of US dollars a year.

Teach Dem I love the interview with Lecturer, although I don't remember much of his songs or history; which is a shame to say the least. Anyway, I wasn't the dancehall type, but he brought up an important topic from the discussion and is why Jamaica don't have a reggae day or week!? And living in the states a day like reggae day would encourage people to travel more to to their native island for a good cause. It's only a few artist I can remember off my head and it's the artiste that plays the most. So having a reggae day in Jamaica or museum as mention would be beneficial for the island and the people of Jamaican and worldwide. Just imaging airline tickets sell off for reggae day in Jamaica 🇯🇲 or a historic museum with previous to current reggae artists with video clips of how it all started would be a talk of the town. Reggae day would demonstrate positivity and good vibration around the island. Therefore, it's a good suggestion that reggae artists get together and collaborate; investing in building a reggae museum which would make a significant change in the tourism industry, and Sweet, sweet Jamaica 🇯🇲 Remember this we likkle but we tallawah. Let's make it happen. Thank you!

Big Respect General Lecture, love the interview Teacher, the best days of Dance Hall Reggae Music is gone it's just the truth there is no respect no good vibe inside the Dance Hall anymore sad to say, going to Dance Hall these days is like going to war it doesn't matter who you are, and sadly we don't even know that is our own business we are killing, the little man who uses to sell his jerk chicken and jerk pork, the soup man cane man peanut man all gone because they are afraid to be robbed and even get killed, trust me the Artist has to stop most of their bad man lyrics it's like promoting badness and we need to have our Artist in the dance hall live every now and then or most of the time, this kind of style they are using specially when you have more than one sound we should be able to go and enjoy your Artist who u like and can go home in peace without any fear. Blessings and thanks big respect for your Platform great job 🙏👍🏻

Lots of stuff to note in this interview, I'm a little disappointed, clearly dance hall has in the past, and even now is a cut throat business, loaded with ultra ego,it's male dominated, things that happened between artists at that time showed lack of judgement ect,but in this case that's over 30 years ago,so I don't see the reason to be mad with you co workers ( in this case (stitchie and nut) you should have gotten over that's since you've emphasize the GOD in you several times in this interview.secondly foreign is a bed of rose for many and I mean many JAMAICANS,but like myself they don't go on social media to present them self in that manner, many are highly educated, have great Jobs, and wether living in the cold as in NY or the sunshine as in Florida, life is what you make it where ever you live, that's on you to make it work, big up teach Dem,every life has a story.

Good morning. Another great interview by Teach Dem. I group up during this era. The lecturer take us down memory lane. Those were some great clashes sound to sound, deejay to deejay etc. The beauty of it there was no violence and the lyrics were kept clean and fit for airplay. These clashes were used to determine the dancehall king and queen. I need to bring back these days when people can enjoy themselves, the true king and queen is determined based on their musical talent. Again these things need to be done violence-free and everyone enjoys themselves. I like the idea of the museum. Thank you lecturer for informing us, taking us down memory lane, and let the new generation know what it used to be back in the day.

Teach Dem, respect; Big up the great Lecturer. I've been always wondering where is this DJ. In 1987,I was I was the MC at a show in Waterford St Catherine and after calling the names of about the first 5 artists and no one appeared on stage/absent,it was pure Shandy bottles followed by this guy with a long knife. Man,I was shocked. It's this DJ Lecture who saved us. He just appeared on the stage, grabbed the mike and said," Yow! Ease off and saved the band and all of us. I think the promoters advertised some artists that they never booked. Big up U self Dj Blessed 🙏.

Teach I love your interviews! Always interesting and funny to listen to these artistes tell their stories. I grew up with listening to nearly all the artistes you’ve featured but there is so much more to them than their music. Big up to All!
