I was married to a man like this one. Their lies are so believable to a point that you doubt your own experiences. In the last family meeting before our separation all I did was cry, while he was confidently lying to the elders. He was mentioning things that happened in my previous relationship that I told him in confidence, my parents didn't even know about. A very sweet guy if you meet him on the street, but behind the closed doors, a monster. Most of our problems included his mom, but you wouldn't dare mention her in the meeting, she was protected by all means.
