=====Student Dharma (Day-3)======== Question-1: 1/(root(1)+root(2)) + 1/(root(2) + root(3)) + ... +1/(root(624)+root(625)) Find the sum of the series. Answer:- Here, we know that in pattern like this, Sum = Second Term in the denominator of last term - First term in the denominator of 1st term. Therefore, Sum = root(625) - root(1) = 25 - 1 = 24. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Question - 2 root(72 + root( 72 + root (72 + .....))) Answer:- Here, we know that in pattern like this, We first check whether the number is product of 2 consecutive number. If Yes then we will assign the sign to the largest number. 72 = 8 * 9 Here, + sign will be assigned to 9 and - sign will be assigned to 8. we will discard the number with negative sign. Thus, Answer = +9. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Question-3 1/(1*2) + 1/(2*3) + ... + 1/(499*500) Find the sum. Answer:- Here, we know that in pattern like this, intermediate terms get cancel out and final answer is based on the first term and last term. For example here, 1/1 and 1/500 will be left out and all other terms will be canceled out. Sum = Difference between first and last term. Therefore, Sum = 1/1 - 1/500 = 500-1/500 = 499/500. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Note:- In question 1 and 2, root means to square root. Please do reply if any thing is wrong.😀

1) 24 Sqrt(625)-sqrt(1)= 25-1 =24 Hence 24 is the answer. 2) 9 72=8×9 Plus ka sign larger no ko ie +9 and hence -8. -8 is rejected due to negative sign.. hence 9 is the answer. 3) 499/500 (1/1)-(1/500)=499/500

SD Solution, Q1 root 625 - root 1 (in between terms will cut in down) and we get = 25-1 = 24 ans. Q2 72 is 8x9 for bigger no. we give plus and for smaller minus and take plus term( bcoz ques have positive series ) which is +9 and minus term will neglect (bcoz ye mumbai nhi ja paayenge accha gaane gaaate hain HAHA} SO finally we get root (72+9) = Root 81 which is 9 ans. Q3 In this we split first then see num and deno , in ques demo we have consecutive no. and diff of it we get 1 which in NUmerator SO (take first term - last term ) in between terms will cncl out Finally we have (1/1-1/500) = 499/500 ans.
