what I understood was that we are basically other peoples view of life,, there own information passed down to us, on how suppose the world is, or how it should be lived, that means we become them plus other people we have collected too our memory, that makes us think we are this so called "I".. when reality we are them, in other words who ever you look up to, listen to, and so on, and as far as thinking a new idea. "this is what I understood, in my own mind watching this video, and again im not judging or saying im correct". he saying it doesn't exist because for example music is made already, no matter what instrument you play or put together, or what you add to it its there already, and I can go further with other things and so on, at first I was like wtf but hey the more I see different perspective views the more beautiful the picture. fuck this is some wild shit

I needed about a year of listening and slowly digesting UG to begin to get a grasp of what he was really saying. And a lot of weed. For me it's like insta-enlightenment. I think much of the problem is his mode of thinking expression was Eastern. If he'd been born in the West he'd have been a somewhat obscure atheist with s small cult following.

@@mindspark9835 Osho and U.G. were at the last stop of all of this crap lol the difference between those two is Osho just used silent gaps to bring people's attention to this "natural state" and U.G. is more direct without a presentation through his conveyance. But U.G. is more practical and forward. He is like a random guy on the street, which is what he prefers because he doesn't care for all of this "spiritual presentation" like the way Osho did. He just wants everyone to shut up. So yeah, that would make him the last stop. Osho knows this and has said plenty of things similar to U.G.'s concepts. But Osho just had fun with it lol.

It was published yesterday. It can seem tricky sometimes, but UG has come to the essencial question: there's no essence. And with this I mean essence cannot be experienced by anyone. Thought has created the illusion that we are the only living specie that has a soul and that way we divinize ourselves, but not enought to say we're God. This game cannot be won, we play it from a very small jail, somewhere in between corrupted thought and nature, lost in delusion due to a weak understanding of the world which is the same that us. Reading is breathing.

That was really transformative and also it matches with the perspective of lots of religious, spiritual, scientific and nothingness theory's core conclusions. Amazing point of view... 🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 🧠 Introduction to Mind as Illusion - The mind is discussed as an illusion, not a separate entity from the body. - U.G. Krishnamurti challenges the notion of a distinct mind and explores its relationship with the body. 01:36 🤔 The Fundamental Questions of Thinking - Questions about what thinking is and why humans think are raised. - The assumption that thoughts are self-generated and spontaneous is challenged. - U.G. Krishnamurti emphasizes the difficulty in accepting that thoughts are not self-created. 02:38 🤖 Brain as a Computer and Materialistic View - Discussion on the materialistic and mechanistic view of the brain as a computer. - U.G. Krishnamurti challenges the ingrained belief in the existence of an entity, soul, or mind. - The idea that even so-called spiritual values are materialistic is highlighted. 09:13 🔄 Endless Cycle of Solutions and Problems - U.G. argues that solutions offered to solve problems often become new problems. - The reliance on solutions provided by authorities is criticized. - The essence of the problem being the search for solutions is emphasized. 11:15 🌐 The Illusion of Self and Separation - The creation of the self and the illusion of separation from nature are discussed. - U.G. emphasizes that the self is a product of accumulated knowledge. - The consequences of this separation, such as ecological problems, are outlined. 17:27 ⚖️ Harmony and Unity with Nature - The need to recognize the integral unity with nature is stressed. - U.G. critiques the self-consciousness that led to humans considering themselves superior. - The tragedy of maintaining a false sense of superiority is highlighted. 20:11 💭 The Nature of Thought and Fear of End - U.G. discusses how thought perpetuates itself and creates the illusion of the mind's immortality. - The fear associated with the end of thought is explored. - The analogy of a tape recorder and its implications for individuality is presented. 23:05 🔄 Creation of Time and Space by Thought - The concept that thought creates time, space, and the notion of a beginning and end is addressed. - U.G. challenges the limited actions of thought based on its desire for permanence. - The paradox of thought creating limitations while attempting to escape them is discussed. 24:39 🚪 Trapped in the Illusion of Separation - U.G. summarizes that humans are trapped in the illusion created by their own thoughts. - The paradox of the prison of thought being an illusion itself is highlighted. - The human predicament is presented as the constant attempt to escape the trap of thought. Epistemological activity is a prison where words & numbers keep the prisoners, the appearance of bodies interacting with an apparent environment, incarcerated perennially. The Prison of Oblivion or Limbo! Language has seriously being misunderstood from its unknowable apparent beginnings. Language, is literally data turned into information that is apparently only suitable for the apparent bodies/environment, in order to preserve itself as a unify field not an individual unit with self autonomy. It uses pronouns at personal levels to help survive what appears to b an artificial intelligence creating, ARTIFICIAL LIFE! Both originating from quantum computational systems operating enigmatically. Randomly not deterministically! Ouch!

We are the same. We will communicate based on what parents and society taught us. Likewise computers communicating with each other, they exist and they don't in the same time. You can make a computer claim he has an identity. But there is still no ''I'' there. It's a cosmical charade you can't escape. He thinks alike Gurdjieff, who believed that humans are machines.

What is UG experienced itself is called enlightenment which he calls it as stumbled . He did not stumble just like that but years of meditation and seeking . Since he had pressure , stress and expectations while meditating he could not achieve enlightenment . Once he gave up the wanting of enlightenment and started experiencing calmness and relaxation. The mind started its journey by itself and achieved enlightenment. He could not figure out this connection with earlier process . Nothing happens without a process . Even car accident is a process just like that lightening is also process . Sometimes we won’t be able to find our keys despite searching everywhere but when we give up searching all of sudden at the midst of something the mind remember it. So mind is always working at the background for what we are seeking but when we are relaxed it provides the answer. Anything seeking with stress will weaken the wanting energy because energy is distributed between stress of doubt and wanting

Yes indeed he was 49 years old when he became enlightened. He was mentally stuck in a negative relationship with his wife and wanted out but couldn't do it until almost 50 years. That's probably why he was a little bitter in his videos, mad at his younger stupider self for wasting so much time.

Maybe it's something like this: There's no mind, just a brain that it's needed for a biological system to perseverate. A body is a composition of biological stuff (which in turn is a composition of other stuff: chemical and atomic etc) that possess compartmentalization ( which means that a body needs to know where it ends. To know the difference between itself and what it's not itself: to do this it's not needed any consciousness at all. I think Cells are compartmentalized or something like that: I'm not a biologist); Anyway the biological system's "goal" is to survive, to survive the best possible way: senses are born, they are mechanisms that read the different forms that energy takes place. A brain is needed to interpret all that. That's all about it. But then there's this thing...the mind, thoughts. What is it? It is a product of all those stimuli of energy that hit our senses- We need to realise that it's a constant process, it's billions of energetic movements occurring continuously at the same time. It' not that the stimuli is obvious things, the stimuli is omnipresent as we are constantly in a sea of energy. Everything is energy. That complexity gave birth to the illusion of thought. Does a mind exist? That is probably an "illogical" question because we don't know nothing about what is existence and what is non existence. I realise that answering to this is too hard! This is one personal attempt, from a 21st century human at a certain time of his life, tomorrow I might have different opinions. The interesting thing is: does my life changes with these opinions?
@zenography7923
@zenography7923 4 жыл бұрын
@@benderthefourth3445 I'm not sure about this. Beneath all the mechanical operations that enable survival, there is a field of pure awareness. This is self evident to anyone who cares to look. Awareness exists and can't be explained away as simple mechanical stimulus and response. For example, one could programme a computer to recognise the colour yellow, and it will do that very well, but it never becomes aware of the quality of yellowness, and never experiences it as such, in the way that you and I would. Awareness is the deepest mystery in the universe, and then some. UG's work is interesting, but he is far too reductive, and seems simply to ignore any considerations other than the mechanical. This was a common way of thinking back in the 70s, among academics and public alike, but I don't think it gives us the entire picture by a long, long way.

I’ve been so surprised at how triggering it is to ask people what is thinking and why do we think. I can see now, the thought process like a ticking time bomb. To get to chill like UG is, that process needs to pop back into natural rhythm. But it takes a calamity. Something like AI and quantum computing will prompt these question for many.

After all life is dance of energy converting to Matter (ie Earth,air,fire& water) & matter into energy. Space is inherent every atom & sub atom. Space is non reactive & highly pliable Realising Space in our being is utmost necessary to understand life. Space is infinite & holding in & around Earth, Sun ,Stars everything.

Unfortunately UG was not a very clear explainer of his concepts. He stumbles upon certain words and repeats the words but these repeated are supposed to have various meanings, it is very unclear. Sorry. I do like his materialistic outlook on life. I find it sobering.

Most religions of the world, suggest to meditate.... After hearing Jiddu Krishnamurthy and J Krishnamurthy , i have come to a stage to understand meditation is a state which will happen to any person on getting into that state where it happens itself. .... Like one falls asleep on tiresome work.... Maditative state is a wonderful time of daily routine....

What is time? Does anything really have any limitations if they're not humanly defined? If human just learn language, can't he define world in his words without getting knowledge of this world? If nature and thoughts are connected then why aren't thoughts considered to be existed? Is there really no essence ?

It's interesting when Jeffrey talked about people that had been blind from birth and then given an operation then they can see. Afterwards they have to be taught and told what things are. I would argue that the global mind is akin to the knowledge that a blind person would have of knife fork spoon bowl automobile as being things that they already know but now have to redefine it using a new sense. Those of us who suddenly see past our own ego and constructs oftentimes view the world in the same way, with the need to redefine what we thought we knew that has now become unfamiliar which can lead to an existential crisis. Many things that we never truly attended to, now can be seen. People who are still of self-limited vision cannot help.

Why does he not go into his conclusions, ... Self Knowledge via Self Inquiry is the key to Freedom.... All he says Jiddu Krishnamurti takes one deeply into the whole structure and operation of " thinking". One has the capacity to go beyond thought, and its conclusions... Just effortlessly listening Attentively, Observing, Seeing arises spontaneously. No Clarity in his statements... Namaste 🙏
