Listen man, I've been in Biochem class for 2 months and biochem lab for 2 months. I had no idea what was going on until watching your videos today. You need to come teach at Hunter College. The lab teachers rush through instructions and care so little explaining to us why we are doing what we are doing. And you just explained it all so simply. Your videos are wonderful and so helpful. I don't understand your conclusion at the end. The arrow between ES and E+P is one way, not an equilibrium, so according to that P won't react back to S. What I can imagine is that [S] is dropping below the [E] which will make the rate of P being formed drop because [S] and [ES] are in equilibrium.
