Good thing it's safe and secure inside the headlight housing. it's a nice and clean install. Not unlike for other cars, you have no choice but to stick the Led strip outside the housing.

well this is harder than it looks. I bought the lights for the drl in the first bulb in the light socket toward grill. took me an hour to get the damn new bulbs back in but looks great. now ill try these strips for the long strip like this. thanks

Hey guys, so I've been looking for a 2013-2015 honda accord. I'm interested in a 2014, but I went to two dealers and they all had halogen bulbs for that strip looking thing. I found it weird, but by the looks of this video all you do is replace the halogen bulb or whatevers there and install a powerful led light and the housing makes it look like a led strip which I think is what honda is doing here. I find this very cleaver design, this way instead of having a real led strip and when it burns out you gotta replace the entire housing but in this case you just have one bulb that mimics an led strip very cleaver honda

Only the v6 Accords have the actual LED strips These are not DRLs Your high beams will be on because for the 4 cylinders those are the DRLs. Tail lights and parking lights will also be on

The T10 adapter is just he little white plastic piece at the end of the led tube that you plug into the harness. The blue bulb you removed is a T10 bulb

@@GhastUnity Correct, this video is misleading. The 4 Cylinder Accords use the HighBeam at 1/2 power for DRLs in the day. In order to see these Strips in the day, you have to drive with your parking lights on. Your Highbeams, tail lights, and strips will all be on which looks tacky. Also, your electronics in the car will all turn dark in the day which makes it hard to see anything. These are LED strips, but they are NOT DRLs

So I heard you say you rotate the bulb clockwise to take out? It’s not counter clockwise? It’s such I tight fit to get your hand in there that I want to make sure which way I am rotating the bulb.

I just watched another video , and the guy said that the dealership quoted him 1500.00 to replace these lights. I have a 2016 Accord Sport with 44,000 miles with one of the light going out already. The other guy said that his went out at 33, 000 miles, this is crazy, Honda should be replacing these things for free, they know what they are doing though. I am going to look around, to see if I can find a shop to replace them at a reasonable price., if not I will give it a try myself If you need replacement bulbs for your low beams, try AUXITO H11/H8/H9 Light Bulb 25000LM 800% Brighter, 6500K Cool White from Amazon 42.39 a pair, these bulbs are extremely bright, I can see much better at night

One of my have the strip and the other side has the bulb. The fixture was changed a little bit back, however I heard if the bulb is in you can’t technically put the strip through because a piece needs to be opened up or melted off. Idk. Someone please help though

yeah , i seen those, those one are from china(ebay sellers from china) i think, I rather have my led strip solid, my prefrence but I did put switchback turn signals. Did you have problems reaching the strip bulb and getting the led strip in the socket, I did, I had my little nephew help me since his hands are smaller, actually i got my white led strip from china for only 8 dollars for both and they are just as good as the expensive JDM ones, just had to add the t10 connectors at the end, also it took a long time to arrive, but it's all good. ❗ I made a video on this Just a heads up; these are NOT DRLs. They're part of your parking lights. That means that you have to drive with your lights on to see these. Your High Beams will also be on while you're driving. As soon as you disengage your parking brake, your high beams will turn on Only the V6 Accords in the United States come with actual DRL strips built into the head lights all 4 Cylinder Accords use the High Beams at half-power for the DRLs Also, it is much faster, and easier to access both of these bulbs through the Wheel well liner.

Any other color than white or amber running lights are illegal...pretty much anywhere in the world. They are reserved for emergency vehicles. Get it out of your head that you're somehow entitled to use them. Don't be that guy

These are NOT DRLs that's why this video is misleading. The 4 Cylinder EX-L Accord uses the high beam for the DRL. This strip is connected to your parking lights which means you will always have to drive with your lights on in order to see them which looks tacky because your high beams and tail lights will always be on also

alex707ss Nope. Once day light runs out then no way to replace it except replacing the entire headlight module. Without warranty it will cost 1700 just to get back the day time running light. Luckily mine was still under factory warranty. After warranty then no more day time running light.

@@ml2528 These are more of a blue-white than pure white. So make sure these are what you want for the price they ask. Other tube LEDs are available for under $10 if you Google for them.

It is easier to snake that through that hole getting the bumper off and the headlight assembly off the car.
