LED turn signal cheap load equalizer install

How to install the cheap LED load equalizer for LED turn signals. This part is under $10 online. You only need one per side!

so any problems with heat? i notice you just packed all your wires there under your seat and didnt bother to mount the resistors anywhere. No heat issues?

No they don’t get very hot when they are resisting a “blinking” circuit. I have use them on a handful of other bikes and you can hold them in your hand as they work. I should I have added that in the video.

Why did you use a 25w 8 Ohm resistor? ive been trying to figure out what to use but have no luck. 2008 lowrider

I just used the generic "turn signal resistor" from Amazon. 25w should be about a standard incandescent 12vdc bulb draw. It does not have to be an exact load to ensure that you get the proper blink. Don't overthink it.

does it become very hot? I used kuryakyn load equalizer on my harley 2009 FXCW and it become very hot I can't touch it by hand..

Because it is a pulsing circuit, it does not become very hot. I can keep my finger on it the whole time. If it was "resisting" a steady load, then it would probably get pretty hot.

@@KnobleMoto thanks for reply. I read somewhere it could lead to a fire or burn some parts if its come in contact with them.. I did not measure the temperature but I can say around 70 c.

My 03 sporty I put led bullets in and they don’t blink they just stay lit when I turn the signal on. Didn’t put them in the rear yet cause I knew I needed to get resistors. Will these fix the problem and can you link them please

Yes, the resistors on the rear, will make the front ones blink also. I do not have a link, but they are available on amazon.
