In the 1970s, I was just a kid hold up in my room spinning these records from start to finish in awe of what I was hearing. Even as an awkward adolescent I knew it was great music. In my my mind's eye I'd try imagine what the guitar player must have been doing to get those sounds. Today, sitting in front of this 21st century technology, I get to see - up close - just how much work went into the composition. Thanks so much for posting this. The precision is a sight to behold. Yeah man I hear ya. Sucks to see what garners the most watched on the 'tube. Oh well. Least this dude rocks it. I dig the tele as well. It's rare I encounter one that's a sunburst like this dude's. Most I see are solid color paint variations.
@KrizenMedina9 жыл бұрын
You know, when I think about it, I only know one person IRL that has a sunburst Tele. Any others I've seen have been solid colour variations, just like you said. Odd. Speaking of which, my uncle is interested in grabbing a sunburst Tele for around $1000-ish this summer, as long as the quality isn't complete garbage, of course. But yeah, it's a little depressing when you look at the top viewed music videos, I'm right there with you. Thank god for people like this guy. :D
@sibsbubbles9 жыл бұрын
Yeah funny how the tele just kind of skips the whole sunburst thing. On note of talent... dude a while back I found some killer fingerstyle ragtime. Check out Richard Smith- The Cascades, Scott Joplin. The guy crushes it. Piano was my foremost instrument (and still is). The song was murder on that instrument- kills my wrists pretty fast at full speed. Making it work on 6 strings is just ape to me.

The Guitar solo represents the building(and rebuilding) ofthe seige ramp by the Jewish captives and the "battereing " drums represent the ballista stones hitting the malls of the pallace. The vocals repersent the narrative of events inside the pallace.

It was an April morning when they told us we should go And as I turned to you, you smiled at me How could we say no? With all the fun to have, to live the dreams we always had Whoa, the songs to sing when we at last return again Sending off a glancing kiss to those who claim they know Below the streets that steam and hiss The devil is in his hole Oh to sail away to sandy lands and other days Oh to touch the dream, hides inside and never seen Into the sun the south the north, at last the birds have flown The shackles of commitments fell in pieces on the ground Oh to ride the wind, to tread the air above the din Oh to laugh aloud, dancing as we fought the crowd To seek the man whose pointing hand The giant step unfolds To guide us from the curving path That turns our feet to stone If one bell should ring in celebration for a king So fast the heart should beat as proud the head with heavy feet Days went by when you and I bathed in eternal summer's glow As far away and distant our mutual child did grow Oh the sweet refrain soothes the soul and calms the pain Oh Albion remains, sleeping now to rise again Wondering and wandering What place to rest the search The mighty arms of Atlas hold the heavens from the earth The mighty arms of Atlas hold the heavens from the earth From the earth I know the way, know the way, know the way, know the way Oh the mighty arms of Atlas hold the heavens from the earth
