What I want to know is why does he sing "Satan and Man" and also he sings "Satan's daugter". I'm conflicted that Robert sings songs either in Led Zepplin or elsewhere that seem to be Christian and that he believes and accepts Jesus as his Savior while lyrics in other songs are questionable? Jimmy Page is a whole nother story.

I doubt Plant very much: "Does it hurt to hear them lying? / Was this the only world you had?" Them? The only antecedent for that pronoun could be the phrase, "Satan and man." Also, look at the entire stanza in which that phrase appears: What's it about? It's about the mask coming off of the deceiver, and it's a mockery of those taken in by the song's message, offered by the line, Will you heed the master's call? and as if to say, Oh,...you DID heed the master's call? Well, then, sorry not sorry, but tell us (now that you've joined the club...O, sad, sad Satan...) Was this the only world you had? There ain't no use in crying (All of us in the band have already had ours) 'cause it will only, only drive you mad (What's done is done, eh?) Well, yes, if you "let the music be your master," and reject eternal life in Christ Jesus. An angel on my shoulder? Sure: Which one? Hmm...what's the name of the angel in the song? A sword of gold? Utterly uselesss unless considered as a means of conquest in the material world, the world of men. And that's exactly what some people are full willing to sell out everything for. To watch the white doves go from the houses of the holy is to watch the spirits of the redeemed depart from the bodies of believers, and their bodies are the temple of God, and this temple is holy (Google that.). Are we surprised, then, to hear that following the departure of the white doves from their individual abodes that the result is that "from the door comes Satan's daughter?" Ha! But dig this: Satan is the biggest loser that ever was, a cosmic loser, and he knows it. He knows he cannot defeat The Almighty; his only aim is to do as much spiteful damage as he can to God by stealing them away to worship him and bring them into damnation with himself. Satan is a liar and a murderer; no matter what he promises you (and even delivers, although you'd be a fool to count on a square deal), his ultimate aim for you is always the same: Your complete ruin. Nix Led Zeppelin. Destroy all their works. I speak from personal experience.

Because I am a Christian I am trying to understand that lyrics can be misinterpreted and then some will leave me perplexed forever. I never liked the song Stairway to Heaven by the way. Robert Plant has sung songs like In my time of dying and I believe where u could think he may believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior.
