This video guitar lesson series consists of 4 videos total. One close-up performance video for you to play along with and three note-for-note video lessons covering every section of the song. ROCK ON!!

Tried some other lessons on this song and they were anything from not well taught to just plain wrong. This vid is the best teaching and most correct tab for this song in my opinion, so many thanks for uploading it.

Hi, do you recommend playing the A on the second fret of the D string while doing the opening riff as the extra octave for the power chord? Cause I find it drowns out the other details of the riff.

So do you take requests or how do you decide how you make lessons? If you do take requests, think you can do Joe Satriani's Starry Night? Or Clapton's version of Hideaway?

The Hardest thing about this song is playing it w anybody else other than John Bonham, and JP. Jones. A lot of drummers seem to struggle w this song when it comes to the intro , it's tricky on where exactly to come in, the upbeat of 1? Is this in 4/4? I can easily play the song, I just always remember struggling on the intro in a band context.

practice relaxing! you're probably digging your finger in harder than is necessary to produce proper notes. If that doesn't fix it, you should probably have a teacher look at your technique, could be a bad angle, using the wrong part of your finger, lots of things can go wrong, and every hand is different.

Use your pinky as much as you can...
@Rayjohnson89
@Rayjohnson89 11 жыл бұрын
Using your pinky makes songs easier to play and it becomes easier on the hand. You could say its more ergonomic. It requires less of a spread. You can be good if you don't use your pinky, but you will not be great.
@yammmit
@yammmit 7 жыл бұрын
Ray Johnson I find it really difficult to use my pinky and I feel like I won't be able to play this song in its entirety because whether I use my pinky or not I can't reach down to the fifth fret while holding an A chord.
