Hi:) Great video! Is it possible to buy tabs for specific songs (rock like hard rock, AOR and MHR)? That would be really great. Please answer me on my e-mail: sgriberg@gmail.com Best regards Søren

"... Again, this is one of my licks now..." I saw Led Zeppelin four times in the 70s and Page never played it as well as you just did. And he whacked in all kinds of sloppy licks that were... "just one of his licks" BTW... You show scales and right hand discipline really pay off. I know. Here in Austin I was in school with Eric Johnson so that was the the standard all us guitarists had to live up to. A lot of really good pickers came out of west Austin from that era.

Nice I have been practicing this song for an age. I had the notes, but until I saw how your describe the picking strokes it never sounded right. Quite a revelation for me! And to top it off it is actually easier to play, because it seems to just flow naturally. I'm still shite at it, but am definitely in the way now - thanks!

This is good, this is the best Rock and Roll lesson yet, you know your Led Zeppelin! I started playing guitar when I was 56, have been a Led Zeppelin fan since I bought Led Zeppelin 1 in 1969. My goal was to play Black Dog and Rock and Roll. I do play Black Dog (rhythm) and have watched so many guitar lessons, a lot of good, but a lot not so good. Got to see LZ twice, both times in Copenhagen. So thank you very much. Greetings from Norway. (are you related to Chris Spedding)?

Great Lesson ! Well played.. You probably chose the best Pickup Position (Bridge ) to play it considering most people will have modern pickups..As a side note , Jimmy Page in the film TSRTS used the " Middle Position " for this song , including the pre solo double stops , flicking to the bridge for the solo proper..The tone in Rock and Roll live had some of that "Hollow Chirp" mid position going on.. Celebration Day (the next song) was all bridge pickup..Unless you have Pages pickup arrangement, the middle slot on modern Les Pauls sounds too wooly and undefined, hence why players default to the bridge pickup and probably our teacher here did as well .

Great lesson! Could you please talk about the pickups in the guitar used, and also the amp/daw used?

Hey Sped, I finally moved forward from your amazing Black Dog tutorial and I'm going to indulge in this piece here, I also finally checked out your store and picked up your No Stairway Tee as well. Honestly the least one can do benefiting from your awesome tutorials man. If the shirt's just half as good as your videos it'll be great! Anyway, thanks again Sped, Tommy

KZbin would be a better place if musicians would let their creativity flow instead of playing like an automaton. Even more so when most of them are so far wrong I sometimes think they must be listening to a different song. Nice of you to put your spin on this great number.

Bruh. I don't know if it's your British accent, that sweet Les Paul or that crunchy tone but you rock man! Great quality lesson both visually and audio...ly? I appreciate your breakdown of the song. You've got my Sub for sure. If you're ever in NYC let me know and I'll buy the first few pints. 🤘🏼
