You need to start with the first Zep album and listen to their rock, soul, and blues musical perfection. And watch the movie about this show. it is free on KZbin. Your mind will be blown! I saw it 5 times at the the theater when it was released in 1977. Thank you. 🥰

They say that LZ never played a song the same way in concert. I only saw Led Zeppelin once - in 1974. I think every woman in the arena wet her pants! The date I went with had binoculars to watch Jimmy Page on guitar (he was a guitarist himself), but I kept taking them away to watch Robert Plant sing! The entire band are masters at their craft! I saw Robert Plant with Allison Krauss in summer of 2023, and he still has it! I'm a grandma now, but still rock to LZ. I raised my kids on it, and they are fans too. I have to start working on the grandkids to appreciate the greatness of Led Zeppelin!

Each of these 4 geniuses are the GOATS of their crafts, together they are the GODS of MUSIC. Every live from this concert is absolutely amazing, the 3 concerts were used for their movie, The Song Remains The Same. They play a verity of genres Rock Blues Folk Prog Reggae Funk etc. Their first two albums are more Blues Rock, while other albums also have some, these guys love the Blues & do it Justice. Two great studio songs, You Shook Me, & Tea For One. This you just reacted to is my one of two favorite lives, the other is at Earls Court May 25,1975, this date is the best version. The guitarist plays the hell out of the guitar, & it’s a song that will take you to church. Their rabbit hole of music, I promise you’ll become a huge Led Zeppelin fan too. Please Please check out quite a lot, you won’t be sorry, thank you for your reaction.

wanna hear something really crazy??? this version was the one that ended up on the cutting room floor. the version used in the movie "the song remains the same" is better. a little backstory... they were making a movie out of one of their "live" concerts and they played 2 sold out shows on back to back nights at msg and filmed / recorded each show with the best video / sound equipment available (thats why the audio and video are of higher quality than others at that time}. they even dressed in exactly the same clothes except for jpj who wore slightly different shirt (if memory serves) anyway, they picked the version they liked best and used it in the movie, the other you just watched.

Both the live and the studio versions are perfection. In the first half of the 80’s the Houston rock stations played about 14 LZ songs regularly but I didn’t hear this (one of their absolute best) until I picked up a cassette of LZ III in Junior College about ‘85 and I was floored. WHY did KLOL and KSRR not play this??!!!

Hey hun, Led Zeppelin has soooo many amazing songs, please react to some more. These guys are amazing with the blues, but they are with every genre. I know I’ve watched your LZ reactions, but I can’t remember what all you’ve done. It’s a studio only version, but one of my favorites, You Shook Me I know you’ll love it. Another of my favorite lives is, Earls Court the May 25,1975 version of In My Time Of Dying. This date is the best audio & visual, Jimmy Page plays the HELL out of the guitar, they all are on fire. In case u didn't know... Jimmy Page (guitar) was high as a kite during this performance... there was no shortage of weed, acid, powder and booze backstage at Led Zeppelin concerts 😂 Jimmy Page was a huge fan of 50's R&B and blues from America (John Lee Hooker, B.B. King, Howlin Wolf, Lead Belly, etc.) and this was his way of trying to emulate what his heroes were doing before him... He admitted that he was not the most technical or proficient guitarist, but Page had a certain chemistry w/ Led Zeppelin when he played (especially live) that created a sound that was bigger than the sum of the individual band members... After the death of Led Zeppelin's drummer John Bonham in 1980, they could not re-create that sound because 1 crucial member was gone and could not be replaced. That is why the band ended.

Interesting fact. This concert was made the same year the Knicks last won the title. LOL. Their hotel safe was actually robbed of their travelling money during one of the concerts here. I think around $200k. Which is about $1.5 million today They swore to never play the Garden again. But they did. And some people say it may have been an inside job. Their manager Peter Grant, is in the Hall of fame for managers. And he and Led Zeppelin are basically responsible for the performers getting a much much bigger part of the cut from their records and concerts. They even formed their own record label. But saying that, Peter Grant was a bit corrupt. Not to Zeppelin themselves but with anyone that had to deal with Zeppelin. He was also a really large and intimidating man that may have had ties to the British version of the Mafia. And was not above threatening peeps to get what he wanted for Zeppelin. He tended to hire large and intimidating roadies that went with him tot alk to peeps. So, some peeps think Grant may have been behind the theft. It wasn't Zeppelins money that was stolen. It was the record companies. LOL.
