DJ literally has nothing to say about this song. Does he love it that much or does he just not like it?

Simply the greatest song ever written by the only band who could have written it.

I could not agree more, but there is one other song of that ilk. Layla by Derek and the Dominoes.

Myself and friend sat in a Cinema (2000) in the 70's when this Film "The Song remains the Same" came out. It was in 70mm Film widescreen with the New Dolby surround sound and we had some slender tubes of Narcotic delight pre seating. We sat right at the Front and looked up. It was if we were there. If you can get yourself into a Sound/Cinema lounge with the Widest Screen and watch the whole concert. Oh and we floated out of the Cinema our feet didn't touch the ground for a week.

Great Reaction guys! But what Always Amazes me is How No one , NO ONE, Will take Notice of the Fact that JIMMY PAGE Plays Both Necks on his Double Neck Guitar 🎸!! I mean maybe it's not a Big deal to most , but of a Guitar players I've seen with Double Neck Guitars , I Rarely see them play Both Necks!!

The first half of the solo was the studio version/ The second half was improvised....The double neck was so he could reproduce the song on stage.

One thing that you gotta know is that these monsters of rock only roamed the earth from 1969 to 1980. I think that if they had gotten more play on the radio( they were on FM only and in select cities) they would have been even bigger than they were. Just simply enjoy to what we already knew.🤯🤯😌

Just subscribed and loving the lineup so far, keep it up. If I could suggest a classic it would have to be Journey - Wheel in the Sky (fav) or Any Way You Want It, hell anything by them is amazing. 🖤🤘

The chemistry of all 4 makes for good music. Though Jimmy Page is a composer and producer, he never made anything as good after LZ ended, so you have to factor in the underrated John Paul Jones and the lyrics of Robert Plant and the drum playing of John Bonham. They inspired each other. They didn't write 3 minute songs for the singles charts though. Their music was written primarily for albums though some were eventually released as singles but without cutting them down to size.

I love Led Zeppelin and I don't mean any disrespect but I don't tell people that some people think it"s the greatest song ever written. I tell younger people that it's a special song and I think you should really listen to it. Then their expectations are lower and they are blown away.

Do the studio versions of Achilles Last Stand and In My Time of Dying. Are you familiar with Jeff Buckley? Jimmy Page and Robert Plant are massive fans of his. Robert said that Jeff was a much “greater” singer than him, and Jimmy said that Jeff was “the greatest singer to appear in two decades (between the ‘70s and ‘90s).” Brad Pitt also said this about Jeff: “he’s Plant and Page in one, on a technical level; it’s mind-blowing.” Coincidentally, Jeff’s favourite band was Led Zeppelin. I’d recommend react to the following (first link): *Jeff Buckley - Grace (BBC Late Show):* kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpuyZXybo6asi9k *Brad Pitt & Jimmy Page on Jeff Buckley:* kzbin.info/www/bejne/hp_HhJSfqa51js0 *Jimmy Page About Jeff Buckley:* kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmfUXmp9hJWUl9k *Robert Plant on Jeff Buckley:* kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGHOhn5qftSKp7M
