In their moment, 4 masters came together and set the bar that all are still trying to rise to. Not a single bad song in their entire catalogue. Some better than others for sure but none that are bad or unworthy of their greatness. Truly The Hammer of the Gods.

Great reaction. One unique aspect of Led Zeppelin is that their producer (Jimmy Page) also writes most of their music. JP had total control over all aspects - which is why there are a lot of bold mixing and arranging choices.

Like a lot of Rock music, the midrange is pretty high, personally I'd cut around 500k - 1500k to give it more bottom, but these are Jimmy Page's ears, not mine and he owns a very big house.

Great reaction! I love this song, and have been hoping someone would do a reaction of it. Luckily, it was you! I agree with you about the vocals, Robert sort of skims or floats right along the surface of the instrumentation. I notice this in a lot of their song, like “Achilles Last Stand” and even “Kashmir “. Not an afterthought, but the topping, so to speak, like icing on a cake, or waxing your car. Masterfully done. Bonzo was playing right along with Page through this song, follow the leader. That’s what I enjoy so much about Zeppelin, they way they work together seemingly effortlessly, yet we know the skill necessary to play like this. Thanks!

This song and album are so amazing. Just different kinds of sounds and feel for the Hard Rock genre. Just love Bonhams playing here. All great all around. I have not really analyzed the Zep remasters but I'm wary of a lot of remasters out there which just sound like some EQ'ing and more compression. I assume the Zep remasters are of a higher standard than that, though.

Wonton song Lyrics~ Silent woman in the night, you came Took my seed from my shaking frame Same old fire, another flame And the wheel rolls on Silent woman through the flames, you come From the deep behind the sun Seems my nightmares, my loving gun Left me barely holding on, oh With blazing eyes you see my trembling hand When we know the time has come Lose my senses, lose command Feel your healing rivers run Is it every time I fall That I think this is the one? Ooh, in the darkness can you hear me call? Another day has just begun Another day, yeah Silent woman, my face is changed Some know in ways to come Feel my fire needs a brand new flame And the wheel rolls on, rolls on Rolls on rolls on Rolls on oooooh!,,

Zeppelin, Floyd are bedrocks. Saw a QOTSA request, earlier stuff would be good. Patiently waiting for Tool. I'd like to recommend the song Tubular Bells! A signature piece from the 70's. Exorcist theme music is from the beginning of the song. Straight up it's a 25 minute instrumental but it's brilliant and a must listen for you. Peace, great job.
