I love and appreciate that you explained that grey is not a color you can create!. I cut all my hair off in 2014 or so and went straight up grey. It was gorgeous. In 2018 I went to a hairdresser who said it would look great if I added baby-lights to my virgin grey hair. She swore up and down it was a demi color and it would eventually wash out. It didn’t! It looked beautiful btw but I always had to go back and get my roots done because the blonde/brass from the demi showed through! She always said she could get me back to grey but she never could! So eventually I started highlighting and then coloring it and finally doing root touch ups! All because I let her talk me into the baby highlights! Now…I am trying to grow my hair out and made an appointment with a different hairdresser who I trust and she said she could lighten up the ends like a balayage and leave the the roots alone. But actually if she does that I will have to go back every month or so to deal with the color because she really can’t create/make grey!! Wow! Great video. Thank you 🙏🏼

How long did you wait to start rinsing the sections that you did first? I've never used 10 volume with lightener. I have a client that I'm going to do the same thing to and she has truly 4tines more hair than average. Awesome work by the way!

I use to be a dark blonde and frosted my hair with bleach and a frosting cap. Now I'm 58 and totally grey. I want my old look back. Can I just pull my hair through a cap and apply a dark blonde color, using my grey for the lightlights?

You may wanna look into foil slicing technique so you could blend in some golden blonde color into your hair at home. It's a lazy highlight technique that creates kore impact by parting paper thin slices of hair in between your natural color without the traditional weave pattern
