At 19:00 I noticed that there was a sound and the same when the transaction went through. I've got sounds enabled on my Flex but all I get is a very quiet tapping noise when I use the on-screen keyboard. Where does the sound you got come from? Does it come from your phone or the Flex? It appears to have a speaker on the top of the device. Thanks...

Hi, I did a test run and i received my $5 on my iPad and phone but question?? Maybe this is a dumb question but is the amount suppose to be on the ledger flex as well? I see nothing!

The ledger flex is not connected to the internet and so it can never know your balance. It is only used to sign and verify your transactions

So I already have a ledger x set up on my desk top and I have the ledger mobil app set up on my phone that is my wallet. I bought the Flex, can I add the flex to my existing ledger account on my desktop and add it to mobile app as another account? The Flex is for my daughter and i want to keep our wallets together if possible. Also if this is possible to combine both wallets to one acount can my daughter download the Ledger mobile wallet app and also see her account on her phone?

It sounds like you’re asking if you can manage the Ledger Flex as a separate account under the same Ledger Live setup you already use on your desktop and mobile. Yes, you can add the Flex to your existing Ledger Live account as a new account, and it will show up alongside your other accounts. However, your daughter can’t see just her Flex account on her phone unless she sets up her own Ledger Live app and connects the Flex directly to it. If you want to manage everything together, you’d control her account from your Ledger Live setup.

They are only shown on ledger live. The flex can't show your coin balance because it is not connected to the internet

Ahh okay, just another question, when I transfer crypto from an exchange to my ledger live does that automatically go to the flex? It tells me to double check wallets on my flex when doing transaction but it only sometimes says authorise signature?

So I am in the set up process and it is telling me to download something on my desktop computer. Its a 9.99 service after a 30 trial. is this normal? Yours just started downloading the bitcoin and etherium once you clicked it

That might be the Ledger Recover service (you could use that if you want but I don't use it in this tutorial) You shouldn't have to download anything additional to your computer. Make sure you're getting Ledger Live from Ledger's website ledger.com

Thanks for covering the mobile vs. desktop right off the top. I watched the 3 min set-up from Ledger and it was so lame...no explanation about it - just showed setting up with mobile.

Yeah they should be a little more clear about that stuff. It was frustrating to set it up on mobile and then not be able to sync to desktop
