WOW 💕 - a beautiful duet cover by both (and the rest of the band) as a tribute to Joni! I’m 70ish now and have listened to Herbie’s 👍 music for more years than I can remember. But until today, I NEVER heard of Ledisi, and think she has a 🌟 fabulous voice! IDK why but fortunately I’m recently discovering ‘new’ artists who aren’t as well known as they should be - at least in the USA 🇺🇸. A lovely song + perfectly executed - it’s nice relaxing, laid back, easy listening music for ANY time of the year (not just Xmas 🎄 or other holidays around that time bc of some lyrics to it). 👏

It's only Herbie and Ledisi in almost all comments. That is very fine. But there is much more in this beautiful rendition. The first three seconds belong to the fantastic drummer Brian Blade. He was Joni's last drummer. His playing is so amazing throughout the whole song. Then before Herbie starts playing there is a soft bass and a quiet guitar. Who are they? Then the wonderful Mark Isham (I'm not absolutely sure here) comes into being with the amazing sounds out of his flugelhorn. Finally this wonderful woman with her amazing voice ... it's coming on Christmas... IMHO I think without these musicians this song would not by far be the same. They should be honoured.
