Her best country album ever! I love how she stays true to country music but I love all country music, new and old. There is not one bad song from Lee Ann Womack. They are all my number one favorites. I play all her songs repeatedly all the time.

I went down a handicap ramp on a Sunday .. flying & that joystick didn't slow me down.. cuz it was just a chunk of illegal cement.. county code calls it a convenience ramp & although it was curb high , in a handicap access space to boot.. i flew right outta my seat head first. The only thing hot was my head & that darn Vegas pavement . The next day when calls got answered .. i wondered why a 1968 law stops city fools from doing their job . Filing complaints as instructed too , just to read how EAB justice doesn't enforce ADA & what jurisdiction has to do with Washington fools. Who needs customers rollin in .. the merchandise has higher value. A concussion & poor hospital care & i just wanna get outta there. Thank you .. gave my mothers day fall a place to i could sing & feel more than bureaucracy. Good song.. glad you are back ! Luvaquad♡

Well, it's not like "I Hope You Dance" is traditional country. Don't get me wrong, 'cause I love "I Hope You Dance," but traditional country was always close to blues music. Go and listen to Jimmie Rodgers and Hank Williams Sr. They were the white man's blues. This just shows how much Lee Ann is close to the genuine spirit of country music. Not every song needs to be blues-oriented, and I assume that the album with have a variety of classic country expressions.

I like "I Hope You Dance" as a pop country song, because I think pop country can be done well. But I especially love her more traditional songs, such as "Never Again, Again" and "The Fool." I see her foray into blues country as another expression of her love for traditional country. But, I hope that her new album is not dominated by the blues. On that at least, we can agree.
