Lee auto bench prime review part 2

Genuinely enjoyed watching your video. You tell it like it is. I fooled with the auto prime for some time, threw it away and then bought it again. It now seats primers better than anything else I have used (I have tried all of the available mainstream products). One thing you might try is to move the latch on the primer tray with two fingers, your thumb and forefinger, with one on the front and one on the back. I saw that on a Lee video and it really works.

Lee says it will not do federal primers unless you single feed them. Have you tried any yet?

USMC 0331 DMR - strictly speaking Lee don’t say ‘it will not do Federal primers’, they warn against using them due to Federal being more liable (for reasons unexplained by Lee) to detonation in the unit.

I bought one of these yesterday. It works great. Never used any other kind, but very happy with mine. Used it with Federal large rifle primers. Only needed to gently tap the tray from time to time.
