Lee Auto Drum Upgrade kit

I want to thank Viejo(Walter) for bringing this to my attention... I had no idea that this even existed until I saw his video. This has been needed for a looong time. Once you got the powder measure installed and had to move it it was one giant PITA! That skinny knurled ring simply wasn't large enough for a grown persons fingers to unscrew the powder measure.

Nice job. I hated the small knurled nut. This new kit is great. It makes it really simple to switch the powder measure from turret to turret. I’m really liking mine. I did the same thing trying to push the new nut into place 😂😂

That knurled nut was crazy stupid IMHO... Thank you so much for sharing this... I had no idea until I saw your video. Yes sometimes a little persuasion helps...LOL I love my rawhide mallet... doesn't mare things up and is pretty darn effective. Take care

I kept asking Lee if they would sell just the new nut and longer tube... I have plenty of the red hoppers and the last thing I needed was 2 more of them... not to mention Lee charging you for them too! IN the end IMHO it is worth it simply because it is a lot easier to move the powder measure from one turret to another one. Take care

Saw them at Midway as “new” , I don’t remember having a problem but I use the extension . The APP bottle was a stupid design and I don’t even use it for primers! 😂

Just wait until you get a bit of arthritis in your hands...The skinny nut is very difficult to manipulate! And this new setup allows the arm sticking out to swing over most pistol length dies easy. I use the jar on the APP/APC for catching spent primers... that is about all it is good for.
