WOW! We really like for King + Country. First time I heard this song. Really good. My dad has been gone since 1990. My father-in-law died on my birthday 5 years ago. Both men left us a legacy. Our son, who will be 50 this week, calls us everyday to check up on us. He lives in Missouri, we live in Ohio. What a blessing. God is good.

My daddy has been Home with the Lord for one year. He used to call me every morning at 10:00. There were times that I couldn't answer, and I, too, got a message just checking in. I cried when I heard this song. A healing cry. Thank you!

I love this song to! Just listened to it because I am wide awake thimking about my loveds ones I lost recently. So many times I want to call to tell them something and realize I can't. So I just tell God please give them this msg. I am so happy I saved over 20 msgs my mom left on my cell phone. I listen to them every week, I laugh I cry just to hear her voice, her laughter, and her saying she loves me. She is gone 3 years now but feels like yesterday. I had a birthday msg my dad left me but accidentally erased it. Would give anything to have it back. He passed 8 mos after my mom. And just recently in May my youngest sister passed, I have the sweetest msg from her I replay all the time. And lastly my niece passed away a couple weeks later, only 19. I have a butterfly video she sent me with her sweet voice. Those are my comfort go to's. I hope you can do the same. Until we see them again some glad morning. God bless you one and all.

I love it! I lost my dad in 2021 and the last time I hugged his neck was September 16 at my mom’s funeral. A week later he was in the hospital and when we were able to see him again there was plenty of equipment in the way of a good hug your neck hug. So to see the date of the hug in the video really did feel like a special hug from above. Praising God for using your amazing talent to comfort a daughter missing her dad today. ❤️✝️

My dad has been gone for more than 10 years. He wasn't around much when I was growing up (workaholic), but when I was in my 20s he changed and started to check in regularly. It drove me nuts. I was so broken by his lack of presence that him wanting to regularly be in my life... I didn't handle it well. There was so much between us. After he passed, I wished I had done more. Has tried harder to have the hard conversations with him. And that regret is hard to live with. As I listened to this, the Holy Spirit prompted me to forgive myself and move on. Forgiving myself is often harder than forgiving others,lol. Thanks for this song. It reminded me of the good things about my relationship with my dad. He did try.... and that matters.❤

Last Wednesday I listened more closely to these words when I was driving home. Fortunately, I was waiting at a 🛑 when I started crying. My Dad passed 6 years ago. He had advanced dementia, so I was caring for him while my mom was in the hospital. Even though it was stressful and exhausting, I am grateful the LORD gave me the strength to care for him. He only had one lucid moment during the month and a half I was with him. He tapped my arm, when we were waiting at his doctor appointment. He said, “thank you for taking care of me.”seconds later he was no longer lucid. What a gift the LORD gave me! He passed away the next month, the night before Easter. I pictured him running down the streets of gold singing How Great Thou Art (his favorite praise song).

This song's made me cry so many times. Lately I've been really missing my grandfather who died before I was born. I wish so much that I could have known him, wish he could see me, my sisters, my little nephew now. I wish I could call and talk to him. I wish I could've see he and Grammy together. I lost my Dad along time ago when I was 12 years old, it will be 43 years ago at the end of next month(March 2024), there's not a day that goes by that I wish I couldn't speak to him. So all those who still have your dad, be thankful, and if you don't have a good relationship with them , find a way to mend that fence.

I'm really glad I've got my dad. In 2016 we stopped talking because he got mad at me over something so stupid, I blocked him on everything, didn't have my number. In 2018 or 17 he messaged me happy birthday, he'd make new Facebook accounts just to wish me happy birthday. I kept ignoring those messages until 2021. May 2021 I got a call from my step dad at 3am saying that my mom had pass away. My dad's sister (my aunt) and my mom have always been super close, and talked almost everyday so I asked her if I should let my dad know because we'll he was married to my mom, over 20 years ago, but still he's my dad and what not. So my aunt thought I should call and let him know. I am so glad I called him. We have gotten closer than ever and my spouse even met him! I am so happy to have my dad back in my life and I forgive what he did to me years ago

I happen to be blessed with 2 Father's. My Dad and I may fight and won't tell him I love him back but I always have. Hearing this song after ignoring it, I broke down in tears knowing I love him so much. Heard this yesterday on an all night radio program. Special guest was one half of God and Country. He told the story of how he discovered this gem and that Lee had it on hold and so on...Anyhow I listened and I had to pull over cause tears were flowing. I lost my Dad seven years ago. For the first 4yrs, I had a voice-mail from him that I cherished. When I changed carriers, I lost it. But no one will convince that me catching that song yesterday was not him telling me that he's still checking in. I love you and miss you Dad😢❤
