@@captainplatinum I get it, Will, you're a bouncer, or have friends that are bouncers. You want to protect your job and feel good about it. The fact is, we have to have bouncers. The other fact is that many young men are bouncers, and they aren't always right and are not always good. Look, I worked security for a couple of years when I was in college. I know how young men become yahoos, just looking for an excuse to put the hurt on someone. Often time they overstep their bounds. Its just a fact. It can even be worse in bars because of the alcohol fueled crowd that you are policing. I don't hate bouncers. We couldn't have bars without them. Imagine how out of control a bar would be without security around. But this doesn't deduce the fact that many bouncers are bullies. Many of them are mouthy and enjoy excercising their postion over others. And yes, many of them are not fair whatsoever.

What a strange perspective. Personally I think Shaun likes to study certain characters in terms of a psychological perspective. I must self am fascinated by criminals because of the their mindset of the attitude that they will not conform to society and have an anti authoritarian outlook ! C'mon you got to have some balls to dare to question "why should I " and "no , I'm behaving the way I want to " . However your right in saying that in a lot of cases actions like this will often result in a premature death.

No doubt these stories get exaggerated as time goes by, it will go from 1 bouncer to 3 to 5 to 7 to the point where he reaches mythical status. Lee Duffy was nothing but a street thug who assaulted innocent members of the public for no reason. Like any street hard man there was always someone out there who was tougher than him. He was no Mike Tyson Muhammed Ali or Wlad Klitschko or Stipe Miocic or Francis Ngannou all of whom would have chewed him up and spat him out.

Yup I’ve read and read and read about the Duffy era and I used to work in boro and met lots of guys from boro and I’ve no doubt Duffy was a very powerful aggressive man , but I’m lead to believe that 90 percent of The so called fights he had , he hit first ( sucker punched ) his victims He even sucker punched Brian Cockerill the first time they met , when Brian friendly introduced himself , when Duffy went to Newcastle trying to antagonise Viv graham , he sucker punched many of vivs bouncers I don’t care what anyone says , sucker punching anyone is a cowardly thing to do I wonder how many people he would have knocked out , if all the ones he did knock out by sucker punching them , but instead , they shook hands , stepped back , and raised there hands and then started a fight fair and square like the travelling people do to settle their disputes

@@boyasaka probably 5%, I have always said if you sucker punch someone you should knock them out. Every town /city/ area has their hard men and in my experience all of the hard men/ names never had. Fights, they just whacked people when they not ready or unwilling to fight back for fear of repercussions. Tbh I been in the fighting game for a long time and all the names around my way would have got beat by people I trained with if there was no retaliation and and even fight. Lee Duffy walked in with just shorts bare chested no top on, he stopped the music and made everybody get off the dance floor, he then went onto the dance floor and had a dance on his own to "Shades of Rhythm - Sounds of Eden" whilst smoking a spliff, everybody just surrounded the dance floor and watched on.
