Ah I was waiting for you to get to this one. Our Hong KI is known as Mr. Emotion, I have recommended a few clips here where its the reaction of the men in the room when he sings, they just lose it, especially the clip where Seungkwan, Hoshi and DK are on his radio show and Seungkwan gets to sing with him. I always say to watch it twice, first to see Seungkwan beam with excitement and happiness to get to sing with one of his fav singers, and then you have to watch it to see Hoshi and DK's reaction while they are watching the other two, mouths left ajar in awe!!!!!!!! It's honestly a must as ye adore Seventeen. Also FT Island have always looked after N Flying and there are clips of Hong Ki and the group bringing out Hwe Seung at concerts when he was young and new showing the ropes so to speak and dearest Jae Jin stepping in when they didn't have a bassist and about to embark on a tour when he himself had just finished a tour with FT Island. As you can see, "Still Love You" includes Lee HongKi, who is the main vocalist of the band F.T. Island and Yoo HweSeung, who is the main vocalist of the band N.Flying. Just wait until you hear them perform this song live, you will be even more shocked. They are even more impressive in concert. F.T. Island (Five Treasure Island) used to be a 5 member Kpop rock band under FNC Entertainment. They debuted in 2007 and they are still active today. However, 2 members left the group in 2019, so they currently only have 3 members. Like most K-bands, F.T. Island (and N.Flying) first debuted in Japan and became well-known as Japanese musicians. Japan is much more receptive to bands, so most K-bands start out in Japan and once they gain popularity and recognition in Japan they then transition to Korea. HongKi is known for having one of the best rock vocals in the industry. He debuted when he was only 16 years old, and before that he was a child actor since the age of about 10, so he has been in the business for a very long time. He is known for his powerful vocals and for having a vocal range that is out of this world. Fun fact: he is also known for his nail art and for the fact that he has a regular appointment at the nail salon, so his nail designs are always changing Current F.T. Island members: Lee HongKi is the main vocal, Choi Minhwan is the drummer and Lee Jaejin is the bass guitarist. Former members Song Seunghyun and Choi Jonghoon were the guitar players. (When F.T. Island had their comeback in 2021 with their song "Unthinkable" and held a mini concert, etc. they used session guitarists to make up for the missing guitar players in their songs.) N.Flying was originally a 4 member group that debuted in Japan in 2013 and Korea in 2015 -- also under FNC Entertainment -- with leader, rapper, vocalist, piano and guitarist Lee SeungHyub, former member lead vocalist Kwon KwangJin, lead guitarist Cha Hun and drummer Kim JaeHyun. Main vocalist Yoo HweSeung was added to the group in 2017 and bassist Seo DongSung was added in 2020. Although K-bands are different than a traditional Kpop group, I still consider bands like F.T. Island and N.Flying to be part of Kpop, because they are under a Kpop company. You should check out some more of F.T. Island's MVs to see their wide range of styles and to experience them as a full band. And you definitely need to see some of their live performances. F.T. Island live is unlike anything you have ever experienced. Also, if you like bands, you should discover some other bands such as TRAX (formerly The TRAX or TraxX), which is SM Entertainment's band. TRAX debuted with SM in 2004 and they were/are still under SM. (TRAX just had a comeback about a month ago with their "To Be Continued" MV as part of their 20th anniversary). TRAX originally was a 4 member band. However, 2 of the members left the band in 2007 and TRAX became a duo band. And then in 2018 they rebranded themselves as TraxX and became an EDM band by adding DJ (disc jockey) GinJo to the band. Although, they only had one comeback as an EDM band. Fun fact: TRAX was the reason Chanyeol from EXO decided to audition for SM because he originally wanted to be a member of a rock band. (Which is one reason why he plays so many instruments.) Or, CNBlue (Code Name Blue) who are currently a 3 member band also under FNC Entertainment, who like F.T. Island, are also super famous in Japan. And, as you know, Day6 who is under JYP Entertainment. Each of the mainstream Kpop bands fill their own niche. For example, Day6 is more of a pop band, N.Flying is a rap-rock band, CNBlue is a classic singer/songwriter band, F.T. Island is more of a traditional rock band and TRAX is one of the first in the industry, so they have covered a lot of different genres over the years. But just like all Kpop groups, they all cover many different styles of music with their songs -- from ballad to pop to traditional rock, etc.

Hwe seung high note 🙌🙌🙌 I love HS voice more as it sounds a bit soft to me. The other one is great too. If ydk, HS has his own version of this song too. That version is the ost of drama Tomorrow. I love that version more ( I love that drama and heard that version many times in drama too, that's why 🫣 )

Ft Island's Hongki - The vocals are so recognized in Korea that he got eliminated immediately TWICE from Masked Singer. 😮 He's got an incredible voice. Ft Island debuted while really young and is considered the first idol boy BAND since they play all the instruments and don't dance. You really should check him and his group out!
