Yesterday I read that the Marshall company's income in amplifiers was 5% of its total last year. Maybe it would be time to take the digital path? Maybe consider creating an emulator? Marshall could create the definitive digital pedal board, without having to emulate other people's amps. If they made an emulator that only had their own amps, it would be incredible and I think it would be very successful. Maybe it's time to adapt to the future? something like quad cortex/axe fx/line6 HX/tone master pro/headrush..... What do you say to me, gentlemen from Marshall??? I would spend my money on that...for sure

Completely agree. Even if they started with their version of a fender tone master where it’s just a direct recreation of some of their iconic amps, that would be incredible

Well, they could definitely make it, and there’d be a market for it. But I bought a Marshall for that classic tube tone. Guitarists like Lee Kiernan and Josh Hardy show that the JCM 800 isn’t just a relic of the past-it’s still relevant today and has a place in the future. So I’m not sure if it’s really about adapting to the future. Maybe it’s more about broadening their market.

or good solid state alternatives that sound great and aren't just budget options
