I dont care that much about BMTH not being as heavy but what I really miss is this tone. Lee used this reverb ambient tone a lot on there is a hell and sempiternal and it sounds so nice. GIVE ME MORE REVERD GUITAR RIFFS!! xD

This band is why I bought my first reverb pedal. Especially after hearing there is a hell album. Sounds so fucking good. I wish bmth still had those awesome clean leads. And also that fucking tone man.

In case anyone was curious what sort of thing Lee had going on in front of his cabinets at 2:16, those are sE Electronics guitaRF Reflection/Isolators. It reduces instrument bleed into the mics. I had never see that in use (Had to look up what they were).

The way Lee adds harmonics and pinch harmonics into riffs is what makes their riffs much more interesting, like in the breakdown in Shadow Moses, 90% of the heaviness lie in the pinch harmonics IMO

Gosh their sound is so amazing especially on Amo, so massive, clear and intense. You litteraly see them hit the strings and the notes.

He IS the most underrated guitarist of our generation. Lee is so fucking unique with his riffs and ideas, I swear to god I can’t find another guitarist these days that are as quintessential as him. He’s a living legend.

Agreed! A good portion of his riffs are way more than just 0-0-0-0-5-3-0-3 😂, his chord choices mainly consist of unique fancy chords rather than simple ones, and last but not least he's master of playing ambient 😎

I love the vertical 2x12 i use mine over my horizontal 2x12 or my 4x12 almost every time. I really need to start saving up for a JCM 800 I have a DSL 100 and love it but something about the iconic 800 that cant be touched

Classic Marshall, she is! I have the JCM2000 DSL100, the next generation after the 800. Great sounds from that Epi Custom, too!

JCM 2000 and DSL and JCM 900 are like toys in comparison to a JCM/ 2203 Master Volume Head. The last great Marshalls made were the 2203, Marshall went down the toilet after that. All the reissues etc are cool but the real amps are gone now and the new one sound like ass.

It's called a Jimmy clip, it eliminates extra noise coming from the strings beyond the nut (practically useless in live situations but pretty nice for recording)

Epiphone is the shit, that's why. The majority of my guitars are Epiphone. Not only because of price, but also because of quality. Gibson is falling apart, while Epi has caught up.

Thats a custome string gauge lee asked for and got years ago.. basically its a heavy af string thats not in line with the other gauges.. its like a couple gauges down from the rest.. sounds positively 'bwootal' though..

Really think he needs to play a longer scale guitar to have more definition and an od pedal in front will make his od sound pretty gnarly...less lows and boooom, he blows Oli’s face with one strum
