The official trailer for 'LEE', starring Academy Award Winner Kate Winslet is here.
LEE tells the story of Lee Miller (Winslet), American photographer. Determined to document the truth of the Nazi regime, and in spite of the odds stacked against female correspondents, Lee captured some of the most important images of World War II, for which she paid an enormous personal price.
LEE is the directorial debut from acclaimed cinematographer Ellen Kuras.
Also starring Andy Samberg playing Life Magazine photographer David E. Scherman; Alexander Skarsgård playing English Surrealist painter, photographer, poet and biographer Roland Penrose; Marion Cotillard playing Solange D’Ayen, the fashion director of French Vogue and close friend of Miller’s; Josh O’Connor playing Tony, a young journalist and Andrea Riseborough playing British Vogue Editor Audrey Withers.
Produced by Kate Solomon and Kate Winslet, with Troy Lum, Andrew Mason, Marie Savare and Lauren Hantz.

Lee Miller had such a fascinating life and was an amazing photographer. The things she photographed. I'm surprised it took so long to make a movie about her life.

Agree its been a while but since then she has won multiple Baftas, Golden Globes, Emmy's and SAG awards : Movies aren't as prestigious as they once were in comparison to TV and in my opinion her best performance and indeed one of THE best performances I have witnessed was her role in Mare of easttown ... she showcased the level of acting she is moving into and it is scarily good.

She gives a masterclass performance every single time. If this is her best like most people that have seen the film are saying then she most definitely should win. Winslet’s acting is better than almost every actor currently living. She is on par with Streep and Brando. She needs to at least win one more in her lifetime to make up for past robberies. In a perfect world she would’ve had two by now.

Kate is a once in a generation actress with 5 x Golden Globes, 5 x Baftas, 2 x Emmy's and 4 x SAG awards she is 100% worthy of multiple Oscars and is long overdue her 2nd - this role very well may be it.

This trailer organically made me connect to the story, I felt hooked and even emotional watching it.. reminding me that recently very few WW2 stories have made me feel something like this. Perhaps because of the saturation of such stories in the market where it starts feeling like just another movie project.. but this.. I instantly felt connected to her character.. it reveals a less explored side of WW2 from this very unusual yet real protagonist (person) of that time. Very excited to see this. KATE WINSLET❤❤
