I also have a Cupra 280, but manual. At this point I'm waiting for my short shifter to arrive, and a warmer weather to Stage 2 map it. All supporting mods are done, so hoping for a healthy 400hp. And when I though 400 break would be too much for FWD, there are also guys like Lee. Mad respect, proper build!

Nice build! Got the GTI Clubsport mk7 at my channel pushin 360hp/462tq at stage1. But been thinking to go Revo st2 would give 400hp. Also just bought the invidia highflow dp wth sportcat, just havent installed yet. Already got the nonres Cobra Sport catback. Will soon go TVS Engineering for dsg optimization like this guy did on the Cupra to save clutch & quicker gearing! Follow build on my channel if u like mate, ill check you page out to! 👍

@@raulvladddd how is it day to day driving, was looking at RTS twin plate but ppl having trouble with it slipping. Vrs sell 2 types of Sachs, organic and sinister, which 1 did you have? Sorry for all the questions but just trying to find the right 1

@@paulboffin9106 Organic (407lb/ft) is fine up to stage 2 but for stage 3 you'll need the sintered unless you cap the torque

I went out with an early Devil Developments Cupra 280 which was mapped at 550hp.. absolute weapon.. I’m surprised how much it gripped being a FWD.. it’s what made me sell my Cupra R stage II and get the 2019 290 Mk3.5 Cupra. Such a great car.

I had 2 Leon fr’s and I think they are great cars, the 2nd one my partner has now and had it from new 2016 with 70k miles now and doesn’t skip a beat, got an m4 now and still when I drive the seat I love it😂

Is an all wheel drive conversion expensive or worth it. We are due to get Cupra models soon down under. Price unknown. We still have no Golf R Mk8 yet either. So who knows. Oz is along way from anywhere. Saying that I have seen New Zealand has Cupra before us.
