Nope. I have come across this on different mediums and it's been consistent each time. He's telling the truth. The sandwiches bit and how he lays into Pallister. Fergie just had a soft spot for Eric and Eric was same towards him.

If your memory is this vivid about the event then you don't forget that pretty big detail. It's a load of nonsense, do better
