I just went to back to back shows of Lee DeWyze. WOW! He is an amazing artist. I love that he is so different than most musicians today. He is old school and plays music with meaning and emotion. I can not get enough of his music right now. Why isn't he a bigger name? He so deserves to be promoted better. I can't wait for his new record

Really love this song! I never get tired of hearing Lee's voice! So many of the American Idol and the Voice winners should be better known. Those shows have ben criticized lately for not doing more to help some of these great talents that come out of the show!

Hahaha as i listen to this song and will prolly listen to all of his music. I am reading the thread comments below. The fact is Music is not dead you found his music you like it! tell others to listen they may or may not like it but its out there. I think we all go through life thinking we are our own best music critic and we are exactly that. Any song or tune that is worth listening too will spread like wildfire, because in the end .... its always about the listener. You know what pisses me off? Music is dying. There is no real money for American Idol winners anymore. The views and sales that the new pop songs get are amazing on their own, and that's good. But it comes at the expense of music like this that has so little play that I had to actually search through Lee Dewyze's videos to find it. I hear enough of this pop at the gym. The Pharrell (sic), the Kongos, Nicki Minaj, it gets so old listening to that stuff. I'm glad they have success. I think the hard work they put in warrants commercial success. But I refuse to believe that their music is better than this. So why do their videos have hundreds of millions of views and this one only has 150K? I'm writing a story I'm hoping can go somewhere. I have been told that it is something legendary, about a robot and his little girl who he looks after during a time when humanity is not that great anymore. And this song fits their story. He has to do hard things to keep her safe and she has to forgive him every time because they love each other. This is the song to that. That's why I wrote this passionate comment. Because this sort of music means something to people. Nicki Minaj's Anaconda video does not.

Music's not dying; people have different tastes and some musicians are luckier than others. Is it unfair? 'Course it is but music isn't dying. It just means that some mucisians are making music creatively while others do professionally; as a musician I much prefer being in the former category. Also, fuck the music industry.
