Lovely little ground, reminds me of the old Filbert Street. Proper old school.

love the place with all my heart but this is very generous- most of the internal fan facilities are reminiscent of prisons quite frankly. Havnt been to any really modern stadiums recently but ER feels v. dated, the problem is if/when we move/redevelop you risk the atmosphere which is priceless. Tough spot to be in
@TheDockrays Жыл бұрын
Yeah they probably didn’t want to show some of the internal facilities that the fans an away fans use. They said they don’t plan to move anytime soon. An yes you are right, the atmosphere is incredible and they don’t want to lose that like some teams have such as West Ham United for example.

It's always nice n nostalgic to see what the 1970s looked like! Big club!? Even Burnley have got nice padded benches in team colours in Home Dress room!These dressing rooms are a similar level to Train Station waiting rooms! Leeds need to modernise the stadium without losing its traditional character! Seriously, great club! 37,000+ capacity!?? U sure?? Thought it was larger!🤔

Hi, Just drew with Manchester United at Old Trafford - not too bad, plus in the Premier League. As a Blackburn fan, I would take Leed’s position today. Just need to fight to not get relegated now. An to be honest, the stadium has character, history and I have heard a good atmosphere. Some of the modern stadiums lack all this - thinking of West Ham United, where you can hardly see the players. I agree, Leeds do need to modernize areas of the stadium. They did say they have no plans to move site, so this won’t happen any time soon. Who do you support? Burnley have 2 nice stands, and two older ones. Their away stand is particularly quite old an outdated.

the ground was 40,000 reduced to 37,000 to fit in more hospitality boxes. Villa is 42,000, Chelsea 40,000, Everton 39,000. So 40,000 to 37,000 and being in the top 12 biggest grounds in the country is still pretty big. We could get 50,000 in there each week no problem in my opinion, you should see how hard it is to get tickets. I agree the stadium is a complete dump now though, it's looking very tired and desperately needs modernising but don't forget we were in the championship for 16 years and missed out on all the Premier League money. Also don't forget some of the grounds that are of similar size to leeds don't fill out to maximum capacity on game days. Hillsborough for example

@@ronoccc yes its unfortunately the reality for clubs who have been out of the top division for years. Sheffield Wednesday have been yo-yoing between Champ and League 1 for a while now so no wonder their attendances have slipped. Its a shame for big clubs like this.

Hi, yeah I really want to create a Nottingham Forest FC stadium tour, but there are no tours available. I have been checking for the past year. Thank you very much.

Interesting. Are there restaurants and pubs inside the stadium? Is it difficult to get tickets to matches?
@Bestofeverything665 Жыл бұрын
Very difficult, the stadiums capacity is around 37,000, but sometimes the queues to get a ticket are 50,000+, the other week 70,000 people was waiting in queue for a ticket, so yes pretty hard to get hold of one.
@TheDockrays Жыл бұрын
Yes there are restaurants inside the stadium. Mainly for business and cooperate guests. Not really pubs no; there is one outside the stadium though. There are traditional food/drink stands around the stadium too. An similar to what Vantage International said, i would imagine it is very hard to get a match day ticket. As Leeds United FC is a huge club with a massive fan base, not to mention one of the biggest cities in Yorkshire alongside Sheffield.

I have questions did Leeds have gym and medical facilities at the ground
@TheDockraysАй бұрын
Hi, I am not totally sure, as they never showed us. Maybe at their training ground for the gym.

Leed Utd Stadium should at least be an 50K stadium, why isn't it?
@TheDockrays Жыл бұрын
It’s classic and big enough for now. My guess would be because they have been a championship team for the majority of the last 20 years par last 2 seasons. The focus must be on stability with their squad as priority for now.
@georgemacpherson1992 Жыл бұрын
They have the green light to expand it from the originally planned 50k to now planned 55-60k. It’s be done a bit further down the line.

Elland is ripe for development. A new West Stand of 20 k with lots of corporate to increase revenues and the big one ie extend the Gelderd End ((Kop,North ,Revie ) stand in the modern era . It will be a one stand end like Dortmunds 'wall ' or.naybe that one tier stand at Spurs .
@TheDockrays9 ай бұрын
Hi, I totally agree; Elland Road would appreciate a redevelopment. However, I also like the fact that Elland Road is still very traditional, like a classic stadium compared to a lot of these modern stadiums now. It creates a great atmosphere.
@ethannunes8220 Жыл бұрын
If an English football follower, Born and bred, consider Leeds moving from Elland Road, then national football traditions, history, heritage, atmosphere, are all gone and the main responsible are the very national ones, not big companies ou international investors... We should ask for modernisations as Liverpool's Anfield, Ranger's Ibrox, Newcastle's St James Park etc... Not disastrous and absurds done by Arsenal, man city, Bolton, Huddersfield, (I'd say Southampton, Sunderland, Brighton)... Not to mention the crime West Ham United committed when abandoning and demolishing a perfection Boleyn ground was... True crime to national football roots... Well, the way Championship football is going is very similar to PL, that's why I'd rather watch and follow League One, Two and National League action...sadly the nation thing is dying rapidly🏴⚽🇬🇧❤️🏴
@TheDockrays Жыл бұрын
I agree with the first point about keep Elland Road and the heritage, history and passion. Revamp areas like Liverpool have done - good point. As the examples you gave are clubs who have lost that such as West Ham. An yes the international billionaire investors are in a way ruining the game long term; as how substantial is it and at what cost in years to come. However, I still enjoy the game today, particularly Champions League, Premier League and Championship. I just hope they don’t change the formats for the sake of money revenue for some and not the majority.
