I understand the joy and have been feeling it quite a lot over the past few months. I feel like if I’m enjoying what I’m doing then other people benefit as I love to sing and so I joined a folk music group and I have never felt so happy in my life. I have learned who I am and what I like to do and I don’t let anyone put me down. I have found that I can spend time on my own and spend time with others and now I enjoy both. I feel like a new person and want to shine and get others to shine just as bright as me by just talking and joking with others. Love to all!

I SO resonate with the need for joy and can often feel it bubbling up inside me! However I can also see that joy does not resonate with everyone, that in fact it may feel threatening somehow to other humans. Thank you. An older friend is a reader since young in India and learned from elders says save yourself first. You can only control you. All of us have a right to our lessons and as a collective. When we see what is as it is - no labels, learned images etc - and accept our role the world will shift (as a whole.) Also all is probability not predicted. I have been in deep mourning caused by the outside world for ten years now. Sure I'm experiencing what that does to my inner world to deal with it, but it's so unnatural that I don't want to deal with it. Constant low frequency consciousnesses that have taken my children hostage. My pericardium then closed tightly around my heart to protect my soul. Neutral became the new happy and usually in contact with people I sink below. Ten years later and having gained so much more insight into psychopathy, I try to start to open myself again to joy for the first time. I don't know what it feels like anymore. When I smile it feels like a facade, because my heart still carries so much pain. Still, laughing saved my life, because it spikes above neutral for a millisecond. I resolved to contemplate more with that on a daily basis and indeed why wait for the outside world, but the outside world does have a lot of influence in the meantime. It seems like joy is being sabotaged. And then of course the New Age freaks say you allow that, but no, it just is. What I notice in many people is their lack of indignation about bad things that we as a society do to each other or just looking away from it. It is often said that you still have a place in yourself that still needs to heal, while the misbehavior that causes it is passed over. Maybe it is true that (lasting) joy cannot really exist without justice. I feel little spikes, but not even every day, 80% of me constantly feel those lower values/projections. But I keep contemplating it.
