@andressoto7392 жыл бұрын
@@tobi4637 A decent chess player should be able to destroy any current engine. As of now engines struggle surpassing a 4,000 level rating. Humans can comfortably reach a 6,000 to 9,000 elo rating with proper guidance. Unfortunately, GMs tend to classically train chess via theory so they get capped at around 2,500 to 2,800. I honestly can't name a single soul who doesnt incorporate general theory into their gameplay. A properly trained chess player should be able to beat a 3,500 rated engine with only like 4 to 5 pawns and just one bishop from the very start of the game while the engine has all their pieces intact. What I want to see is how I properly trained chess player with a 15,000 level rating plays against a quantum engine with a 20,000 level rating. I suspect a black hole forms after every move during the endgame. Can't wait

Well, the battle between two strong engine will undoubtedly cross 70 moves at least. As, their calculating capacity is terribly high which is far beyond than human approach. Long ago, there used to be 1 human who is known as engine(Namely Robert James Fisher). Unfortunately, he isn't alive. His moves were kind of estimated like engines. I assume anyone could win him in chess if he was still alive(Pointing engines as well). If we talk about stockfish, it seems that Stockfish eats Fisher for breakfast, but not really. He was at his peak. He dedicated so much such that he ended up mastering chess which is insane. Only engines are capable of doing so. Anyways, your editing is so wonderful! Keep it up.

Name of music at bro!??
@bc_76443 жыл бұрын
Uh his rating was only like 2800. Sf is literally 3860. Sf wouldn't even lose a game in 1000 games, just to show how dominant it is. Fischer was an extraordinary player in human terms, but to relate him to engines is frankly absurd. You haven't shown that Fischer was as accurate as modern engines, but even if thst were true it wouldn't be very relevant. His opponents made mistakes and played inaccurately, and he was very good at exploiting them simply because he was a much stronger player. Stockfish doesn't make those mistakes and plays much more accurately, so Fischer would struggle more a lot more and probably be the one being inaccurate.
@glowinglicht25763 жыл бұрын
@@bc_7644 The significant thing engines do is to point out mistakes of others, likewise Fisher. Fisher moves were so unpredicted. The common thing about Fisher in his all game when he plays with White is, he always opens with b4, with knowing it, people couldn't won him. That shows how rigorously he plays. If you talk about engines, there weren't strong engines in his era, even so, he won Green Blatt engine in his first attempt. That shows, he would eat engine as his breakfast. If you talk about stockfish, I know, no humans can win it, but we don't literally know what if Fisher, Tal were still present. Not that, I'm saying, Fisher, Tal would win each single matches however they would learn more techniques on yielding winning Stockfish from its pace. As, by learning more attacking schemes, Fisher would not only have 3000 rating or so but also he can win stockfish and other newly published engines. He was ambitious player, also humans brain are infinitely stronger than engines. Magnus, Aleriza and some other strong players just know how to play with humans, they don't have idea to play with engines and they attack blindly without focusing defense which makes them scientifically impossible to win engines. Also Patience. If we take a glimpse of Tal's game, even he surprised stockfish with his brilliant attacking strategies, what if he got to play with Stockfish in that century. Just by thinking, the engines have high depth of calculation than humans doesn't mean it it impossible to win them. I know you got it.😄
@bc_76443 жыл бұрын
@@glowinglicht2576I don't know why you are so dismissive about chess engines. They are plenty capable of constructing beautiful games like when leela sacked its queen against sf. Please show me a move that the engine didn't recommend but when it saw Fischer's move, it changed its mind. Must be at reasonable cpu and depth as well. The quality of not being able to tell what opening Fischer would play is only something that is good against humans. Sf wouldn't care since it has all the opening books in the world and is probably able to find the best refutation through brute force analysis anyways. Dude do you think that Greenblatt, and engine from the '80s, before even deep blue is comparable to today's sf? Surely you jest. Everything you just said about Fischer is pure speculation. Arguably Magnus and Kasparov are just as talented at chess if not more and they would be crushed by sf. Either way having 3000 elo would only place him in the low tier of chess engines and sf would still annihilate him. No human brains are not better at chess than chess engines. They can calculate better, almost never make mistakes, and have finely tuned heuristics which allow them to play precisely. Sf was not surprised by tal either and many of this moves was considered to be inaccurate even before engines. Sure he maked some nice games but accuracy wise it could be a whole lot better,

I do not understand the working logic of openAI , does it play the regular opening moves from books & end game scenarios from the past games or it calculates all possibilities after each move and finds a path&solution for the current lineup?
@CM_AG3 жыл бұрын
I can not explain each detail because it is complicated.... But I can say that its performance depends on a neural network. It uses past games scenarios but it also calculates a ton of variations and choose one based on its neural network.... Tried to simplify it as much as possible 😅
@Radjehuty3 жыл бұрын
It depends on the AI. Specifically for Leela, no it does not use an opening book unless it is forced to do so. It's a neutral network that was trained by playing against itself several hundred million times. It's basically a statistical algorithm that makes moves based on what's most likely to result in a win. That's very very simplistic but that's the premise of a NN chess engine. There's other layers to Leela over the years.
