20 years ago I moved to Melbourne- I now live in Newcastle Australia so it was awesome to come to my Aussie spiritual home of Melbourne and take my kids to their first NUFC game. All I can say is my 11 year old aussie son was a total radgie when we won the shootout

For those Aussie based fans it’s priceless. The bairn got to his first game and most kickoffs are 2330-0400 in the morning so to have a 7:45pm is amazing!

Get used to Newcastle U being a maker of money. This is a global market. It is the place you wanted. Would you rather be in Bridlington? Or perhaps Blythe? Your ticket is irrelevant. They don't go there for fans travelling from Newcastle. It is to expand the brand, and that is the player's job, and I have to say they earn enough wonga daily, with little ability in life apart from kicking a ball, to be flown free to Australia to play football representing the city. I'd pay to do that. So shut up and stop winging. Players bank more in a week than the poor people who pay their wages do in a hopeful lifetime. Their money is ours first. This is being a top football club. Ride it or get off at the next stop. Enjoy Australia.
