I play smash regularly with my brother and friends, so in a very close circle of friends (in this case rivalry), sometimes it happens that two people like to play the same character and they both like the same color, so to have a final say in who gets the color you can play a set, and the winner stays with the color. Usually when two people play for the color the ruling stays for life but it's whatever, all in good fun. Except this case obviously. Chillin got whooped and he is banned from that color for life.

You know, as harsh as it sounds. I feel like there is a lot of wisdom in Leffen's words. It's the first time, I thought about it that way. But how do you beat someone? If you want to beat someone? What do you have to do? You have to practice and aim to surpass them, not just beat them. Think bigger, aim higher, and all the people who aim lower will naturally fall behind. I wonder if that's like a Swedish proverb or something. I still feel bad for Chillin to a degree. I heard he fired some pretty heavy shots at Leffen himself. But, I hope this wake's Chillen up. Mark Coppolino At Evo 2015, Leffen went up against Plup, which is arguably the best Samus in the world, and lost 2-1. He's known to have trouble against Samus mains as he also almost lost to Plup in CEO 2015. Samus is known to be his kryptonite. I feel that if he would just take the time to analyze Plup, M2K(When he goes to the doctor that is), PPMD, and Hungrybox, then he would certainly be number 1. But in my opinion, I feel that he has already proven himself to the smash community. It's just that they don't cut him as much slack. But yeah, I hope that answered your question.

Leffen's focus is on an evasive laser-heavy punish game Fox, with most notable characteristics being very light but very smart shield pressure with occasional repetitive strings favored over mixup strings. He specializes in evasive lasers into nairshine grab or running shinegrab conversions and lots of clean jc grab openers. His bread and butter is tech chase up Smash/backair/downtilt into Nair usually against spacies from what I can immediately recall, and this usually leads to bottom left/bottom right platform tech chases on the tri platform stages. From this he will go for more knockdowns, and is generally very consistent in continuing this 50/50 scenario and generally punishing well on true reaction. Here's the problem. This style is not technical, it lacks real hard pressure, and it utilizes the strategies that Chillindude has encountered the most in his MANY years of Melee : punishing obvious options with hard reads or some form of lite option select. Chillindude has been playing to varying degrees of success against the best campy foxes in the world since Mew2king was at his prime. He has taken RECENT sets off of both of Mango's (NTSC) spacies (which aren't campy, but are considered best in class), as well as all of M2k's main characters (at one point or another, he plays some of them so inconsistently now). Chillin is known for his Fox on Fox punishes (but really so is Leffen). Despite his basis in true fundamentals, Chillin also has expanded his technical/pressure arsenal beyond that of Leffen's, sometimes (though sparingly) opting for true hard shield pressure strings and even double shine grabs on occasion. While this doesn't work great against Leffen all the time since his option is usually to evade or Shine out of shield, it's eventually going to catch up to Leffen if Chillin gains momentum (which I believe he will due to stronger neutral gamesense and more experience/steeled veteran nerves). Armada nearly beat Leffen in Fox dittos. This is an example of stronger neutral gamesense winning the Fox ditto due to experience handling and flourishing in the heavy punish, mindgame heavy matchup. This is a perfect example of why Chillin 3-1 or 3-2 is the most reasonable outcome for the match. If you have analysis or predictions of the match, and you want to talk about it (public or private) I would be interested. I know some people are betters and don't want to throw theirs in yet (I'm not one for that) but I'd still be intersted to hear from you because it interests me. : ) Thanks

For one, comparing Plup to Hugs or Duck is kind of insulting to him. Plup is arguably a top ten player in the world period. And second, Leffen admitted he sucks at the matchup and tried to get friendlies in with plup before the tourney to learn it and Plup went all Shiek to maintain that advantage lel.
