Mew2King was playing great earlier but just seemed to mess up uncharacteristically against Zain, hoping his execution returns so we can see more of the immense hype he delivered this tournament. Zain was playing fantastic, no doubt about it. Mango was looking so washed until this very set, so glad he found himself. I agree, this tournament was awesome because the top few weren't delivering the consistency they usually have. I don't enjoy melee because I know who is gonna win and how, I enjoy it when I'm surprised by what happens. Melee has felt kinda dull for me lately because HBox just doesn't have enough competition when Leffen isn't attending. I was so hopeful for Melee after he was being upset left and right because the top place was up in the air, but then he came back and stabilized every story. Not to hate on HBox, I just wish his opponents could challenge him a bit more. Also I low key don't like how casual his Puff plays. It can too often feel like Puff just doesn't have enough kill options and interesting mix-ups for a match to have that level of unpredictability that I so love in Melee. If I could change Puff I'd give her more options and maybe nerf her elsewhere to make her consistency come from mix-ups instead of nuanced move spam.

Year late, but it must suck to not be a crowd favorite. If you're Hbox or Leffen, and you play Mango, you go in knowing 95% of the crowd wants you to lose. They'll cheer every mistake you make, stay silent when you're playing out of your mind, and when you lose a close set and feel awful, you have to slink off stage while everyone loses their minds.
