Lindsey's a guitar genius. Mesmerising, even now his playing and vocals give me the shivers. ❤

Never once did I notice the broken string...and as a guitarist, I know the nightmare of that happening on stage mid-song. Testament to the absolute brilliance of Buckingham...

@@alexi.de.charle In the middle of a guitar solo, on top of singing lead vox, in front of tens of thousands of people??? Yes, it can be a bit of a nightmare and/or major inconvenience. Just not for you, because you're "special," huh?

I’ve seen them Live but I’m too young to have seen them this early on in their long run. I’ve never seen Christine that energetic, jumping around behind her keyboard. I would imagine that would not be something a keyboardist could easily do regularly and still play accurately and it would probably be hard on the wrists and fingers. Sisterhood was into it here! Stevie dancing around behind Christine just adds to the energy.

It's really cool that so many staples of Lindsey's live version of this solo are already fully formed in such an early performance. Killing it as always

@spally61 its good that you noticed the broken string thing. I edited around that because Lindsey kept looking to his guitar assistant who, for the only song in the whole show, WAS ON STAGE PLAYING!!! He had to carry on without help so I can only imagine the faces he was pulling to his 'part time' rhythm section.

I’ve been trying to find the video of Lindsey tossing his Les Paul towards Stevie’s head during a live performance. Have you seen that one? He is a great guitarist and this is my favorite song by FM

Every live performance musician knows you simply cannot stop. Even if every string broke, you keep playing. Just kidding, your guitar tech should hand you another guitar.

@@uk7769 -Uh that would be a little difficult in this case because Ray Lindsey, who was LB's guitar tech at the time, was actually playing the acoustic guitar during the set.. lol.

I remember that they banned alcohol at this event. We had our OB trucks parked at the side of the stage protected from the audience by huge barriers. The security team were walking through the crowd confiscating smuggled booze; eg hip-flasks and pocket sized JD's etc. Then they would throw the booze over the barrier and all night long it was literally 'raining' alcohol!!! Hopefully I will edit and upload another song from this concert within the week or so.

My favorite song from generation two of Fleetwood Mac. What an outstanding performance. They were pretty much coked up to the max in this era and the evidence can clearly be seen & heard in Fleetwood's demolition job on his drum kit. Awesome. I don't believe there is any other high profile rock band in history who have/had the dynamics within members as Fleetwood had. 2 couples on stage with a percussionist mediating...it was INSANE..no wonder the uploader LefflerPost has many stories from this concert...how many other bands in history had the same dynamics as Fleetwood Mac? Few if not one...which made for psychological mayhem...both couples were going through so much turmoil off-stage...Buckingham & Nicks wouldn't get married, and the McVie's desperately wanted to stay married but there was just so much drama going on...and Mick Fleetwood was simply following the leads of both couples - the legend has been married 3 times...talk about fodder for journalists...And yet all the dramas going on off-stage seemed to somehow dissipate when they were on-stage...what psychologist could work that out? Freud would have made a book out of it...here's his final conclusion: 'I can categorically state; the relationships and dynamics amongst all members of Fleetwood Mac is ??? Merely 'RUMOURS'...

This video is crucial in that we can see the transition in both image and style of the main members of Fleetwood Mac from 1975 and 1976-to what would become the quintessential Fleetwood Mac up to now...It is almost like a transitional or "missing link" in rock history. Thanks for posting.

@SuzeQuze "What is OB?" - OB is "Outside Broadcast". A term used when televising an event either live or recorded. In the case of this concert it was used solely for feeding the arena screens. I decided to record it for later viewing and never got around to it until now.
