@@the-postal-dude Plausible, but not only does she use the same callsigns early in the game, but she also mentions that she's surprised by how dangerous things are despite knowing a little more than everyone, so there was probably some serious damage control and misinformation being spread on the news, only the guys at CEDA would know the codenames and how bad things were before everything went to hell

Honestly I agree with the idea of Ellis being the type of guy to joke to deal with stressful situations, I just personally feel like the voice line sounds more distressing then him laughing. Tho to be honest it could be both, like a crying while laughing deal. Like Ellis is trying to joke around and be funny but is so scared shitless by the Tank that he can't help shedding tears of fear while laughing.
