What a nightmare. It sounds like this lovely woman's former "friend" is the covert narcissist, targeted her ex, lured him into her disordered world, and then manipulated and controlled him, as narcissists do. That would explain his bizarre behavior after almost three decades of being a normal, loving family man. If that's the case, he will be devastated when the fog lifts and he can see what he's done, not just to his ex-wife and his children, but to himself.

When a husband wants to separate they come up with all kinds of lame excuses and blame their wife. My ex said to me "If only you were not so nice" I guess he felt guilty.

Wow... i am so sorry about your pain. I have so much anxiety about my marriage as we are getting married this July. We have been together 6 years. I am scared to find out my partner will betray me someday. I know there is nothing i can do to stop it, i just have to pray God shields us from such pain

@TheWifeExpert we have gone through our struggles and neither of us had the tools to create a strong marriage. After counseling and time we are on the path to marriage. I guess as the day gets closer my what ifs are still there and I want to shut them up. He is sure of marriage and says he knows he will never stray. I am a researcher so I need the data before I make decisions. Your videos are helpful to what problems may come and what I need to do as a wife

I used to believe that there is nothing I wanted more than an apology. I think I thought that would give me closure, but the women I’ve talked to that actually got an apology said it didn’t help anything. The only thing I want now is for him to return to being the Christian man that he used to be for the sake of our children and future grandchildren. I pray for that almost daily.

@@SarahLaPorte I understand this. It's 18 months for me since BD snd still he shows that he's a long way off from being in touch with his emotions and the heatrbreak he left behind. I pray for him every day, as well as ourselves to get through this. Blessings to you too 🙏 ❤
