1. Roll it around your left leg. 2. Low dribble (as fast and low as possible). 3. High dribbles. 4. Front and back. 5. Side to side. 6. Low bounce to high bounce (5 times each). 7. In between legs (front to back). 8. Skips with left hand dribbling. 9. In and out while walking (circular dribbling). 10. Front and back while walking. 11. Crossover left to right, through the legs right to left while walking. 12. Full sprint with left hand. 13. Dribble around cones counter-clockwise and clockwise alternatively. 14. Step in between codes and do an in-and-out dribble. 15. Do the drill 13 and 14 but also finish with a layup. 16. Step inside cones, start with crossover, finish through the legs four times and finish.

Took me one day just to dribble with my left hand with this video. Took my older brother a week without watching this video. Seems as if you and coach rock (from ILoveBasketball) are the best coaches.
@JohnHondo119976 жыл бұрын
He is so right about just using your left hand for everything. I tried throwing a baseball with my left hand for like a week and I felt such an improvement in control when dribbling with it.
@yompcity90627 жыл бұрын
Hey I have a good suggestion try writing with your left hand. Really helps with your fine movements such as spinning the ball on lay ups. Also try to spin the ball any way with your weak hand it helped me a lot and it might help you

I'm left handed but I shoot with my right hand and dribble better with my right hand. I do things with my left hand to improve it and make it stronger. People get confused when i explain both of my hands are dominate, they think im ambidextrous. I'm getting better with shooting with my left hand, dribbling is still a slight struggle too but it's a progress so I'm getting their too. I know no one would probably read this whole paragraph but if you did please like it and have a nice day.

coach Howard I LOVE your videos man! I'm 27 and I'm not totally handicapped with my left but it's pretty much 85/15 so though I can still score with people pretty much knowing the direction I'm going in, switching it up is Invisalign easier.. Vids and drills have been around forever but I've been lazy and after finding your vids things are easily explained and fun to practice.. keep up the good work bro

Another thing is, you should make a conscious effort to use your left AT LEAST as much as your right anytime you're balling, because if you just give in to your preference you will basically be practicing your right hand more with each dribble your left doesn't get, leaving it even further behind.

@BrandonMontejo3057 жыл бұрын
just keep calm and keep confidence if u mess up whats the worst thing that can happen and bigger people are slower so do a hop step or just dribble fast and fake em out and charge
@johnayon8216 жыл бұрын
ik im late but tthey are both right you might be scared i was too like i would grab the ball hold it and just pass but when i started dribbling making the objective just to get past him...just be confident its key for your shot dribble and game... just dont do too much dribbling or youll kill your stamina nd most likely cause a turn over but other than that play like you dont care... dont care what others think of you.... even if they are better get out of your dhell start shooting instead of passing to others dont be a ball hog but youll do good

When I was a teenager. I used to play street ball with one hand using my left hand. I usually tie it to make sure that I don't use it. But I don't do it in a real team game.
