This stitch looks so pretty. I'd think a baby blanket would be cute with this stitch. I'm not familiar with the yarn, but it looks like it's creamy and soft to work with. I appreciate the left hand tutorials and that you go slow enough so camera picks up exactly where hook is going for stitches. I wish more videos were as easy to follow as yours!!! 😊

Thank you for explaining the need to pull the loops long to get a decent puff stitch (doh! It's what I've been getting wrong all this time). I'm making a scarf, but I think the stitch would be great for a blanket - works up quickly and wil hold air (and so heat) in the puffs without being too heavy. Fave colour - Tidal (just 'cos I like blues/greens). I really like the subtle colour change on the yarn - no dominant colour, and it doesn't come out stripey.

I tried this puff stitch on another pattern last night but it was a chain eight pattern and I could not pull the hook through all 8 stitches. My puff was all tore up 🤣🤣. I got frustrated and quit😂. I'm not giving up though. I'll try again later this evening. Tyfs God bless you

I’m having trouble understanding how many chains my foundation chain must have. I’m a beginner so the whole 10x4 part threw me off.

For chains-4,4,4,4, then after your last set of 4, add 10 chains. So this would make a chain of 26. Or at least that’s how I read it!
