Sega did not have any faith in this project at all. The game was funded fully by the creators and when they asked for a marketing budget to promote it, Sega gave them (no joke) $200. Though it did get a special edition, Sega wanted nothing to do with it.

I've done LSD. It's impossible to emulate it. But that Dream Emulator would be fun to watch while on it. Joe, just wanted to say that I'm glad you're still going. When that Game Sack notification popped up, I didn't think, "Oh, Joe and Dave", I thought, "Yes! A new Game Sack!" You've established the brand, and that's what I'm in for. Your editing is the biggest influence on my own, and let's face it, is the archetype for how I set up my own videos. Using a different clip for each sentence of the script? I learned that from you, buddy. If I can get my audio as good as yours, I'm gold! Anyway, thanks for the great videos and inspiration. Keep going, man!

22:16 'Final Pharmacy VIII' is the canon sequel to FFVII where you build the best pharmacy to save Aerith. Sadly as always SEGA didn't bother to localise it outside of Japan.

Greetings: Segagaga is been translated by fans. A group of translators and fans of the game are working on it a few years ago. Stage of completion is way far at this point. Still, they have around 30% of the game ready. Don’t remember the website. Look for it.

Joe, please cover Kyoro-chan no Purikura Daisakusen on PS1, never came out anywhere but Japan its a really neat game and I own it and love it. It costs bout 50 dollars today and going up all the time and is rare. Credit goes to Jimmy Lynn Sanchez from the Sony PlayStation 1 Sanctuary Museum in Willow Grove, PA for that awesome gem.

Did you know that the Thunder Force styled final level in Segagaga actually uses the remaining assets & engine of a cancelled Dreamcast iteration of Thunder Force 6? We wouldn't even get Thunder Force 6 until 2008 as a Japanese exclusive for the PS2. I just find that really interesting.

Front Mission Alternative for the PSX was left in Japan, all the weapon names including secondary weapons are named after the male appendage. Hilarious considering the serious theme of the actual game....which is in fact absolutely amazing.

I’ve heard, from a guy I know, that when you’re on LSD in real life, the frame rate really slows down a lot. In fact, I read in a science journal once that Hard Drivin’ for the Genesis was intended to be played by people who are tripping on LSD.

That's Olivier from Trails in the Sky. I never realized how much Olivier looks like Chester, but I guess they ARE a bit similar-looking. Also, for Left in Japan 12, try to track down a copy of Poinie's Poin on PS2. You'll be glad you did! It's... weird and inexplicable. One that's also weird but NOT inexplicable -- instead, it's just awesome! -- is Coloball 2002, also for PS2. If you ever track down a copy of that one, hit me up and I can teach you how to play it, as it's not intuitive at all, but DAMN is it ever fun!
