"conspiracy theory" is such a bizarre term. 5 years ago I scoffed at most if not all of them, and I still don't really believe in the ones from that era, but today so many things are considered "conspiracy theories" that the term doesn't really mean anything and I don't really consider it a useful or helpful term in most instances- even when referring to something objectively untrue. for example, flat earth isn't unworthy of belief because it's a "conspiracy theory" it's unworthy of believe because it doesn't make any sense. does calling it a conspiracy theory really make it seem less believable than it already was? of course not. so in this instance it's completely useless as term. *but* using the phrase "conspiracy theory" to lump the lab leak hypothesis in with flat earth theory? that might make lab leak seem less believable- the phrase doesn't make already insane sounding things less appealing to believe, it just makes reasonable concerns seem just as absurd by proxy. in other words, the term "conspiracy theory" is almost exclusively used in two instances: in situations where it isn't needed and in situations where it isn't true.

Michael Knowles talks about this in his book. "Conspiracy theory" is a term invented to discredit opposition by making them sound crazy and unbased. Like, you're not even "supposed to" look into the etymology of "conspiracy theory" because it's completely contrived, and awareness of that fact, is itself called a conspiracy theory.

However, Trump actually *DID* steal the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton, by colluding with Russia to have bots post "misinformation" on Facebook that influenced the outcome of the election. That is an undeniable FACT. The FBI and CIA even thoroughly investigated this and illegally wiretapped Trump's phone to record all of his conversations with Putin. All the evidence is there that proves this, so it is clearly NOT a conspiracy theory!

ANCIENT GIANT TREES: When lava flows stop, and the molten rock cools within the 'pipes' close to the surface, it forms columns of basalt rock, that are much harder than the surrounding stone. Over time, the softer stone erodes away, leaving these free-standing columns of basalt, which have a striking hexagonal cross section. Some conspiracy theorist believe (or at least want other people to believe) that these columns of volcanic rock are petrified trees. These quirky fanciful folk also tend to promote concrete sculptures as "fossilized giants". Good for a laugh, mostly harmless, unless someone who actually believes these sorts of things ever gets a taste of real power.

@@slevinchannel7589 nope, the left has objectively the highest number of 'anti-science-believers'. and no the right do not 'literally off people via misinformation' that's the left if anyone. how do i know the left has more? look how many still think masks are useful for covid-19 despite all the major scientific organizations admitting masks don't affect covid-19 spreading. not enough for you? then look how many think the vaccine for covid-19 helps reduce the spread despite all the major scientific organizations saying it does not stop the spread and at best reduces symptoms. still not enough? the left are the ones pushing 'anti-scientific' ideas like transgenderism (no a man who has surgery does not become a women) and 'gays were born that way' (science has proven there is no gay gene and no correlation between homosexuality and hormones, whether its in the womb, during puberty or during adulthood. science says its a learned behavior not inherent). still not enough? useing the scientific method we know that socialism doesn't work and government power is bad (we have all of history as our test data). being leftwing is inherently against the scientific data. still don't believe me? then you are the one going against the scientific mainstream. that said i don't think 'anti-science-believers' is a bad thing. science is wrong all the time, as a scientist, we are taught to always question the science (its part of the whole scientific method). science isn't supposed to be about belief, its a tool to test ideas via hypothesis, tests and interpretations of data, and we have only limited access to any set of data and thus any bit of science can (and probably will) be wrong. Call someone 'anti-science' because they don't blindly believe the mainstream is in fact anti-science. for example, we now know Newton's laws of gravity are wrong, they work on earth but we know they don't work in space. thus they are wrong. any bit of science the mainstream currently follows could be like that, appearing correct until we are able to expand out data points and see its wrong. and fYI it is the left's fault, they are the ones wanting to change society/etc. if you change something and there is a bad outcome its your fault that there is a bad outcome.

What we really need, are MAC guns from Halo, which basically that means Mass Acceleration Cannon, it’s sorta like a nuke but without the radiation that’ll cause the places hit to be unable to sustain life for a long ass time. Well sorta, I’m sure there’s different classes of MAC guns in the lore, depending on the ship it’s also different. In Halo they even have a turret version of the MAC cannon that has a smaller blast radius while still packing the full punch, being capable of taking out something more then 5x it’s size in one shot. As for why I think the explosion size varies is because in Reach and 3 we see MAC guns fired into two different things and the blasts aren’t quite as big as a nuke, yet still by lore MAC guns pack more of a punch then nukes, but effectively at the end of the day, if any country developed a MAC gun said country would have dominance over other countries.

BINGO and this actually started during George Bush term and the rise of social media mostly youtube in 2005, I know because I was there. The term existed before than but it was restricted to Entertainment industry and house talk among family. Once social media started to grow via KZbin, Conspiracy became a huge topic and it was just 4 years after the Twin Tower incident in NY, where I'm from. Progressives and elites began back then labeling people as Conspiracy theorist for asking questions about said event no matter if the person had legit questions or not. As a result of 9/11 loooots of stuff changed and rights were lost, the whole TSA thing started with airports, citizen spying increased blah blah blah. I try to get people to realize this since I've seen this before.....but this is exactly the same as what they did then, that they are doing now with the vaccine. You could have been a non-political, curious citizen, if you questioned 9/11 you were labeled Conspiracy theorist same as right now, you can be all for vaccines, but have a concern about 1 vaccine now and you're labeled a? Anti-Vaxxer. No matter who has concerned if they are experts or not they get ignored, labeled etc. and news media for the most part is complicit and just like the TSA being a thing and we lost rights, what's happening now with Covid? They're doing things they've done before but setting precedents that become the norm. Conspiracy theory and 2005-2010 KZbin taught them how to handle the public response to truth, whether you believed int he truth movement or not. Now, they've locked down the internet and suppress opposition because they learned form early KZbin how citizens react. The truth movement and 9/11 conspiracy was massive and so much info was exposed among the crazy stuff too. Spread the word. Covid response is just 9/11 part 2.

*To be a "Conspiracy Theorist" now days just means you research subjects beyond what you hear on Tv and the mainstream. Sure there are those who go alittle extreme and believe in some silly things, however the problem is so many things that are actually true are considered the most outlandish and most ridiculed.* *My advice to everyone and anyone is, have an open mind, question everything, do your research, and be prepared to have your mind changed because the evidence for many things will undoubtedly change your worldview.*

I've honestly started moving away from ever using "conspiracy theory" to describe things anymore. The term has become beyond useless and is now full on counter-productive because true things and plausible things are lumped in with patently false things.

Psst. Here's a piece of wisdom: It's literally always been that way. The term "conspiracy theory" was coined during the investigation into the JFK assassination by the media. Notably, by media that was later revealed to be heavily controlled by the CIA once Operation Mockingbird was revealed. So it's basically a manufactured term to create an illusion of madness to hang over someone the establishment has deemed to be asking too many questions they don't want the public knowing the answers to. Things like the JFK assassination.

The perfect product for any mega corporation is one with infinite profitability and zero accountability. There are only three types of products in existence that can reach this goal. The military industrial complex, taxes, and mandated vaccines. Choose which multi billion dollar product seems the most legitimate. The latter has more propaganda, distorted truths, and thousands of court cases crediting millions of funds to victims each year. Truth is only, a matter of how much you can afford pay in advertisement. Dont believe me? Why not see who funds the big news networks, read the slogans of those networks, and hear the repeating words of the people who watch them. People are too lazy to find truth; let alone accept it.

For anyone who might be curious the *”ancient giant trees”* theory proposes that mesas are actually the stumps of “giant trees” that once existed in the past when the earth’s atmosphere was bigger. The implication is that something equally big would have to exist in order to cut them down. Which some people claim is evidence for the Nephilim/giants.
