@@LillianCenteno-u3r Yes and you’d be surprised at how much dirt you can get out of a rug. My mom and I would take turns getting a handmade rag rug clean every spring. Hi there, Laura & Jesse! The wicker 3 ring upright stand is from about the 60s or 70s and it’s a hand towel holder! It would look good painted white or whatever color you want! Thanks for letting us go along with y’all on your thrifting trips! 😍🥰❤️

The wire sheep on a wooden handle was for hanging floor rugs out on the clothes line and beating the ground in dirt out of them. This was before vacuum cleaners, not to say I’m that old but my grandma used them on the farm!

The "sheep thing" was used to beat rugs to get rid of the dust. 1800's, I believe. The one you found seemed to be a lot bigger than the traditional ones so maybe it was a "parody" or something used as a stage prop. Thanks so much for your years of videos. I have learned so much from you!

The wire piece is most likely a newer piece, loosely designed after an antique rug-beater. I've actually thrown an old carpet over a clothesline and used one of the original ones. If not that effective on getting the dirt out, they are great for alleviating aggressions. ;D
