Yes he is. Many actors give back because they know they are over paid. Some even put stipulations in their contracts to accept less money and give to less fortunate persons. i.e. hiring people who are homeless as the extras. Give them a regular paycheck and three meals a day while filming. Many people who are well paid have no problem paying extra so that it goes towards government programs. SNAP, HUD, FEMA, SSI, SSDI, military, VA and much more are funded with tax dollars. Many actors do philanthropic work and donate but those are not necessarily going to people on a long term basis. Last time I looked at the number the middle 50% were the highest tax payers. Having a wealth tax is not that big of a deal to the wealthy but It can impact millions of people for the better. The wealthy who worry about taxes like that are the ones that like to collect wealth and not share. No one needs billions of dollars. There is plenty to go around if 5% of the population would stop hoarding money.

Which one got the bigger the discount? Clearly the 50% off is better than the 10%. The 10% discount only saved more because it costs more. Trump's Tax cuts are the same. People who make less get a bigger discount. Levitt is worth $35 million. Him saving $70k IS LITERALLY NOTHING in comparison to his networth. However, if a person making $50k saves $2,500, that's quite a bit of money to them as that's literally 5% of their total income. How much is $70k out of $35 million anyways? 0.002%. This goes to show how out of touch with reality these people are. The everyday man is getting the much bigger discount, which matters far more than a 0.002% for the upper class.

this tax cut was implemented by Trump when he was in office and includes tax cuts for everyone. so he’s a little late & has benefited from this cut for the last 7 years. it expires next year. he was or is living in New Zealand and from his words loves it there. he recently bought a home in Pasadena & 3 year renovation project. spending lots of money, including the extra $70,000 maintaining homes in different countries

The silver lining is that many of them don't want to reproduce, but even that is a sad testament to the state of our country. I don't understand why people don't want children. We don't live forever, and children are our future. Plus, kids are fun if you parent them properly. This is what's great about church too. People are naturally guarded, but they tend to let their guards down in social settings. Church is free, and you can make a lot of friends there with good family values. You can even set up a "buddy system". One set of parents watches the kids while the other set of parents gets to go out and have fun. It's free too, because each couple "pays" the other couple by watching their kids in return. The kids don't mind because they all get to play together.

Now these concepts have crept into the STEM fields since college administrators have determined there are not enough women and minorities in these areas. And they also feel the necessity to "decolonize" science from any eurocentric "bias." I don't care how many humanities majors end up working as baristas, but I prefer to fly in an airplane designed by an engineer who understands aerodynamics than one who believes mathematics is racist.
